SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Sunday, August 10th

Practice Rounds:

Georgia Team: 12:00 – 12:20 p.m.

Alabama Team: 12:30 – 12:50 p.m.

Florida Team: 1:00 – 1:20 p.m.

Competitors will play in groups of four. Practice yardage sheets will be available to players for

practice rounds. Players are asked to play only one ball to the putting greens to maintain pace

of play.

Player’s Reception: 7:00 p.m. Location TBA

Resort casual attire

Open bar

Introduction of teams and officials

Drawing for Four-Ball matches

Monday, August 11th

Four-Ball Matches: 8:00 a.m. off of #1 & #10 tee.

Club facilities and practice range will open at 7:00 a.m.

Foursome Matches: 1:00 p.m. off of #1 tee.

Casual Dinner: Teams on own for dinner

Tuesday, August 11th

Singles Matches: 8:00 a.m. off of #1 & #10 tee.

Club facilities and practice range will open at 7:00 a.m.

Awards Luncheon: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Casual attire)

Directions: I-20 East to Exit 130/Hwy 44. Turn south, go 10.7 miles to Old Phoenix Road.

Turn left and travel 1.5 miles to Wards Chapel Road. Turn left to property entrance 1.5 miles

on the left. Continue 1.5 miles to Plantation Drive. Turn right and proceed to clubhouse.

Travel Stipend: Each player will be mailed a check for $200 a week prior to the event to

help with travel expenses.

Competition Format:

Monday, August 11 will consist of two sessions. The morning session will be played in a

four-ball match play format and the afternoon session will be played in a foursome

(alternate shot) match play format. Tuesday, August 12 will consist of one morning session

played in a three-ball match play format.

Practice Range:

The practice areas will open at 7:00 a.m. each day and practice balls will be located on the

range.

Starting Times:

8:00 a.m. off #1 & #10 tee Monday and Tuesday. Monday afternoon Foursomes will begin

approximately at 1:00 p.m.

Carts:

Cart and range fees of $25 per player per day will be paid for by the respective golf

associations. All players must ride.

Clubhouse/Food Service:

Reynolds Plantation-Great Waters facilities will open each day at 7:00 a.m.

Charge Privileges:

A charge account has been established for each state association and its team to sign for

food and beverage purchases if they choose to do so. Guests will need to pay for purchases

made at the club with cash or a credit card.
