SKYLINE consists of 8 different-sized frames where different modules can easily be fitted. Modules come in 2 sizes,

designated V and W (W is twice the size of V).

The audio and video modules are available in all FERMAX technologies. Once technology has been selected, the

use of these modules with the appropriate frames, allows the set up of the necessary panel for any installation.

COMBINATIONS

The combination of frames and modules depends

on the number of apartments in the building and the

accessories needed.

There are two module sizes: V and W (W is twice the

size of V).

Frames are designated according to their V module

inclusion capacity.

ASSEMBLY

The module-frame clip-on assembly system is very

simple and effective.

The modules fit perfectly into the profile.

Watertight tapes prevent water and dirt getting in.

Once the panel is assembled, the different modules

are connected to each other.

The final result is a compact and robust equipment set,

just like a monoblock panel (IP43 IK7).

The pushbutton contacts and digital keypad are

watertight, assuring their operation and reliability.

Proven in laboratory trials to be able to resist 100,000

pressings in 48 hours.

The DISPLAY MODULE makes it possible to search the list

of residents and their allocated door codes (telephone

directory type). It indicates the communication status. The

keys allow browsing through the menu. Press to call the

apartment after keying the door number on the keypad.

The KEYPAD MODULE allows homes to be called by keying the

allocated door code. It also acts as an access control system,

activating the door release when a given code is entered

(depending on the technology).

phone with built-in bluetooth wireless connection technology.

Can store up to 40 authorized telephones in stand-alone mode. The

door opens automatically when detected, by key confirmation or

The telephone Bluetooth must be activated in order to receive

the opening and administration commands as well as to send the

corresponding configuration commands.

MARINE PANEL

FEATURES

Marine panel is a vandal-proof video door-entry system

made of stainless steel (2,5mm-thick). (IP 54 IK 09)

Marine design includes a COLOR CAMERA completely

integrated in the amplifier.

The Marine Digital version includes a numeric KEYPAD,

simple and intuitive to use. Enter the door code and press

button to call the apartment.

The panel is attached to the FLUSH BOX by means of

vandal-proof SAFETY SCREWS made of stainless steel.

It is attached to the wall by means of self-expanding

screws and plugs, to avoid warping.

A cellular rubber WATERPROOF SEAL ensures perfect

fitting of the panel onto the wall, preventing water from

getting in.

The module has a powerful built-in high-performance

(2W) AMPLIFIER with volume control to set the conversation

level.

A synthesized message - “The door is open. Please, close

the door behind you”- is emitted while the door is opening.

Opening time is adjustable from the keypad.

The SMD (Surface Mounting Device) AMPLIFIER, which has

been subjected to a process of tropicalisation, is designed

to withstand the most adverse weather conditions.

The CAMERA (protected by a 6mm-thick polycarbonate)

is equipped with lighting for low-light conditions. It has a

PAN&TILT adjustment system to move the camera ±10° in

any direction. It incorporates a 3.6mm wide angle lens.

LCD DISPLAY. Digital version. High contrast, enables to

view the names of the residents and the codes through

a phone book type DIRECTORY. The display shows the

communication status: calling, busy, etc.

The keys allow to browse through the user and

programming menu.

Once the door code is entered, press to call the house.

The MARINE DIGITAL panel includes a keypad to call

the apartments by dialling the door number or the

corresponding code.

• A DIRECTORY DISPLAY allows to search for the neighbours

and their door number.

• Once the code is introduced, press the BELL KEY to call.

• The metallic keys are made of zamak.

• BACKLIGHTING allowing to see the numbers in poor light

conditions.

• Through the keypad it is possible to activate the

installation’s electric lock. The management of codes/users

numbers depends on the model panel: 350 codes (VDS/

DUOX) and 1.020 codes (MDS with Central Unit ref.2405) .

Matt finish without any transparent polycarbonate

layer, it is the most pure and minimalist version of

FEATURES

• A simplified installation audio system. It realized the

transmission of the signal in a complety digital way increasing

the equipment capacity using only 2 non polarised wires.

• Capacity: The system enables management up to 999.999

homes, up to 10 general entrance panels, up to 10 panels

by block and 10 panels by sub-blocks, up to 100 interior

blocks and up to 100 sub-blocks.

• Maximum distance: up to 900 ft (extendable with

additional elements).

• The DUOX amplifier includes voice synthesizer in 64

languages. When the electric lock is activated, a message

is reproduced: “The door is open. Please, close the door

behind you”.

• DUOX telephones must be programmed with the house

number where they are installed, from a panel configured

as a master.

• Communication is PRIVATE.

• It allows to manage 2 conversation channels at the same

time.

• In new construction it is possible to use equally parallel

cable (AWG 17), twisted pair cable (AWG 17), UTP (CAT-

5) (AWG 24).

• In replacement works, DUOX works with the existing cable

from old installations: 5 wires, 2 wires doorbell or even old

4+N wires.

• In case there is more than one panel, a DIRECT keypad

(ref.7439) or DUOX programmer (ref.3254) is required for its

configuation.

Splits a riser into 2 separate branches, regenerating the signal and isolating each branch against possible breakdowns. Up to 4 modules on 2 levels (16 outputs). Risers can share the power source or have one supply per riser.Cascade connection up to 2 levels. Connection is possible:

FERMAX systems permit the use of guard units or

digital consoles to manage calls from any access

and from the apartments.

Calls are stored in a memory. The guard will

answer them depending on the order of arrival or

depending of its own order.

The guard unit allows to call the apartments or any

access by means of its function buttons.

DIALLING KEYPAD Located under the telephone handset. Serves to enter the house telephone number,

panel number and data in general.

A. CALL QUEUE VIEWER ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION. Used to activate or deactivate call queue viewing on

the guard unit display.

In MDS digital systems it is also possible to make

CENTRALIZATION

ACCESS CONTROL

The centralization of the system contains: Central unit, power supply,

battery and the necessary module for communications with the

PC. An emergency power supply is recommended. In installations

with large distances, it will be necessary to install additional power

supplies at the access in order to avoid voltage drops in the cabling.

The centralised access control system gives an answer to complex

installations with several accesses and advanced management

and automation functions. A central unit and highly intuitive

Windows software are required to program the installation with the

PC. The connection between the PC and the installation can be

direct to the installation (RS-485) or remote (IP). The data can be

updated and the installation monitored from different PCs (multi-

station).

For advanced access control functions and home automation

only. Each central unit allows:

• 2,048 users.

• 32 doors it can manage one reader to enter and another to exit.

• 64 groups of users (profiles).

• 4 special profiles without restrictions.

• 32 areas. Defines the doors to which access is permitted.

• 32 timetables. It is possible to define holidays.

• Recording of the last 3,000 incidents (entries, exits, accesses

denied, alerts, etc.)

• Capacity to manage 1,000 intercommunication panels/1,000

sensors/1,000 relays.

Includes 2 software PC for programming and system

management:

- AC Server. To configure the hardware (central unit, readers,

COMMERCIAL CONDITIONS OF SALEThe present commercial conditions of sale shall be applicable to all sales or deliveries carried out by FERMAX, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Buyer.

ORDERSAll sales are made in US dollars, on a wholesale basis with applicable state tax exempt certificate required.FERMAX INC will accept only faxed, emailed or printed Purchase Orders. Orders from end users shall be processed through FERMAX INC authorized seller in the current state.

DELIVERIESThe delivery dates agreed with FERMAX shall be considered approximate. FERMAX undertakes to do its utmost to comply with the agreed delivery dates, always provided the Buyer facilitates all correct information relating to the order and the delivery with sufficient anticipation.The delivery term shall be reasonably extended when causes beyond the decision and control of FERMAX prevent to comply with the agreed delivery date.

ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS AND RETURNSThe Buyer shall review and inspect the goods, as to quality and quantity, within the maximum period of five days after the date of delivery.Returns are not accepted without the direct written consent and Return Material Authorization Number from Fermax Inc. Custom made and special order products/parts are not returnable. Any discrepancies/technical issues with products purchased by customers must be reported to FERMAX INC within 14 working days from the date of purchase.

All approved returns must be unopened and include the original packaging.

OWNERSHIP RESERVE AND RISKSFERMAX shall continue to be the lawful owner of the Products supplied until the full payment of the agreed amounts.Notwithstanding the above, the risks inherent to the Products supplied shall be conveyed to the Buyer from the moment the Products are delivered by FERMAX.

SHIPPING POLICYAll shipments are made with the term F.O.B (free on board) FERMAX INC in Brooklyn, NY. All shipments will be covered through the carrier, with insurance fees, freight costs and handling charges posted directly to the invoice. Unless otherwise notified by email or fax, FERMAX INC shall choose the method of delivery. Additional fees may be incurred due to payment terms.

PAYMENT TERMSFor qualified accounts: Net 30 days from date

of invoice. FERMAX INC reserves the right to modify these payment terms at any time. For other accounts: payment in advance.If the full payment of the purchase price is not received when due as specified by FERMAX INC. FERMAX INC reserves the right to charge interest on any unpaid balance at a rate of up to 1% per month (or the highest rate permitted by applicable laws, if lower) from the due date.FERMAX INC may suspend or cancel deliveries of ordered Products if Buyer fails to pay when due any amount owed by it to FERMAX INC for any goods or services.

WARRANTYFERMAX shall provide guarantee during a period of TWO 2 YEARS following the date of the sale invoice for any original defects in the Products, subject to the terms and conditions established in the legislation in force and in these Commercial Conditions of Sale. This guarantee shall be processed by the Official Technical Services and Official Distributors of FERMAX, regardless the location of purchase.The Products processed for guarantee that do not comply with the provisions set forth in the previous paragraph shall be treated as out of guarantee. FERMAX reserves the right to apply the appropriate measures to compensate any possible damages caused.Any deficiencies beyond the control of FERMAX shall be excluded from the guarantee and liability of the latter, specially when they are the result of normal wear, false information provided by the Buyer, inadequate maintenance, failure to observe the operating instructions, use of any inappropriate material, influence of chemical or electrolytic action or other similar causes.The guarantee of FERMAX shall be subject to the appropriate compliance with all payment terms and conditions agreed with the Buyer.For more info, please check our website section “Terms of use”.

DAMAGESUnder no circumstances shall the Buyer be authorized to make contractual or extracontractual claims for damages deriving from, but not limited to, the loss of production, use, orders, profits, nor for any other direct, indirect or consequential damages.FERMAX shall be only liable to compensate the client for the costs associated to repairing the deficiencies or incidents occurred during the process of supplying the goods that are attributable to the former.For more info, please check our website section “Terms of use”.
