The Civic Si’s 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC® engine is perfect for drivers who appreciate the not-so-little things, and thanks to a retuned exhaust, the Si now performs at a pulse-accelerating 205 horsepower with 174 lb.-ft of torque.1 The engine’s i-VTEC system delivers instant response and optimum power by producing low-rpm responsiveness as well as high-rpm power. The unique power monitor lets you track the percentage of engine power you’re using, the i-VTEC meter shows you when the i-VTEC system engages the power band and the redline indicator lets you know when you need to switch gears. The finely engineered 6-speed manual transmission makes every shift feel smooth and fluid, and the helical limited slip differential helps make wet conditions and hard corners a breeze. Finally, the front suspension and independent multi-link rear suspensions were also retuned on the Coupe. Due to arrive in Spring 2014, the Civic Si is a ride that race car drivers would appreciate on the track, let alone off it.

The Civic Si is pure sport, through and through. On the outside, the restyled Si Coupe is adrenaline at first sight. Both Coupe and Sedan also feature sporty styling points like the all-new 18" aluminum-alloy wheels, rear wing spoiler and exhaust finisher. But that style doesn’t end on the exterior. The carbon print style dash, red-illuminated gauges and sport seats with side bolsters and new red inserts set a pulse-accelerating ambience for you and your co-pilots. The 2014 Civic Hybrid builds on Honda’s legendary fuel efficiency, allowing you to cover more distance between visits to the pumps. At the heart of the Hybrid is the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA®) system, which controls the balance between the 1.5-litre, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder gasoline engine and the electric motor. The fuel economy is heightened further by the continuously variable transmission (CVT), which manages ratios to help ensure maximum efficiency and provide a smooth ride. The Hybrid retains the sleek exterior lines of the Civic Sedan while adding a flair all its own, highlighted by the sporty lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels and rear deck lid spoiler. Plus, with LED daytime running lights and LED taillights adding to its sophisticated look, the Hybrid is a bona fide head-turner. The 2014 edition builds on that legacy by offering exceptional fuel economy with increased horsepower and maintaining its fun-to-drive performance. The available continuously variable transmission (CVT) does wonders for fuel efficiency by cycling through virtually endless ratios to help ensure that your engine is running at the most efficient RPM possible in practically any conditions. Push the ECON button (on all trims except Si) to make the engine and other non-essential functions go from efficient to ultra-efficient. Let the innovative Eco Assist™ system (on all trims except Si) coach you to more economical driving habits, with blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer giving you feedback on how efficiently you’re driving so you can adjust accordingly. The ACE frame design also allows for collision compatibility between vehicles of different weights and sizes. It was designed to pass the stringent IIHS small-overlap barrier crash test, allowing the Civic to become the first small car ever to pass it.

SIX STANDARD AIRBAGSSix standard airbags line the Civic’s cabin. It features side curtain airbags with a sensor to deploy in the event of a rollover and dual-stage, dual-threshold front airbags (SRS).
