2014 Oregon Lavender Festival Tour July 11, 12 & 13, 2014

At participating Farms & VenuesOver thirty lavender destinations throughout Oregon (including 6 on the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail) will be open to show their lavender in full bloom! Special activities will be happening at each destination including the annual Oregon Lavender Association Photo Contest and Plein-Air Paint Out. Welcome to the Southern Oregon Lavender Trail!

A multi-sensory lavender experience awaits you in the nearby Applegate Valley! Nestled among the vineyards and tranquil fields are 4 unique family-run farms, a nursery & a garden offering U-pick lavender flowers, exquisite lavender products & crafts, essential oil distillation, and potted lavender plants. Come enjoy the sight, smell and taste of lavender!

Our farms are open from late June to mid-August when the lavender is in full bloom. Each venue may have slightly different hours, so please check our Facebook page for hours & information about classes, special events and other happenings on the Trail. We look forward to seeing you!

Also open on Sunday during the lavender festival. Goodwin Creek Gardens has been a family run plant nursery since 1977. We grow over 800 plant varieties, Including nearly 100 lavenders. Our other specialties include scented, dwarf & fancy- leaved pelargoniums(geraniums), culinary & medicinal herbs, milk-weeds, & plants that attract hummingbirds & butterflies. We are a new lavender farm located in the heart of Williams. Opening in early July of 2014, we will have fresh lavender, lavender products, original paintings, classes in our art studio yurt & out on easels! We grow five varieties of lavender, raise chickens, and are learning to be more sustainable by growing our own fruits and vegetables. We plan to add a rose garden around our lavender & a gazebo in the center for future weddings.

The OSU Lavender Garden is the Pacific Northwest’s first Lavender Collection and Demonstration Garden, with over 80 varieties of lavender. Sponsored by OSU’s Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center (SOREC), the Herb Society of America, and the local Master Gardener’s Assn.
