Credential PickupCredentials will not be mailed. Media representatives may claim credentials at the Eden Roc media center beginning at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18. Proper photo identification is required for pickup. Individuals may claim all credentials issued to his/her media organization. Lost or misplaced credentials and/or parking passes will not be replaced. All media credentials remain the property of the Miami Beach Bowl and must be surrendered upon request. There are two options for parking at the Eden Roc. You can either use the hotel’s valet parking or you can park in the public lot to the north of the hotel on Collins Avenue.

Thursday, Dec. 18BYU Practice: 10:30 AM - 12 PMThe first 15 minutes of practice are open for photos and video. Head coach Bronco Mendenahall and select players will be available for interviews.*Brett Pyne, BYU Football Contact, will be at Gate 5 on the SOUTHEAST corner of FIU Stadium 15 minutes prior to the start of practice and 15 minutes before the end of practice to escort media to the field.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE


Stadium InformationMedia Parking: 3rd Base Parking Garage. Entrance/Media Will Call: On the West side of stadium.Media WiFi: The login and password to access WiFi is posted in both the press box and the field photo work area. Additionally, the login/password will be on each seating placecard.

Game OfficialsThe NCAA has assigned Officials from the Conference USA to the 2014 Miami Beach Bowl.

Media Will CallCredentials not claimed at the media headquarters by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. will be transferred to Marlins Park and will be available for pickup on game day at Media Will Call beginning at 11:00 a.m. Press BoxThe Marlins Park press box opens at 11:00 a.m., three hours before kickoff. The PRESS BOX is located on the 3rd Level. TV and Radio broadcast booths are located on the 3rd Level. The media entrance is located on the west side of the stadium. Upon entering the building, bags will be inspected and tagged accordingly. Once inside the press box, please consult a Miami Beach Bowl Media Host or the seating chart for your seat location.**Media that plan on arriving at Marlins Park prior to the media entrance opening at 11 a.m. will need to contact Jack Heilig - [email protected] - for instructions on where to gain stadium access. Photo Work AreaThe Marlins Park Photo Work Area is located in the first base dugout. A field-level work area for computer editing will be setup with electric. Upon entering the area, please check-in with the Bowl PR Staff representative who will show you to your pre-reserved workspace. Table workspace is limited, if requests exceed available space, additional work areas will be made available in the press box.

Post-Game Field AccessMedia are permitted access to the playing field in the closing minutes of the game. Elevators begin departing the Main Press Box at the 5:00 minute mark of the fourth quarter and will run to Field Level through the end of the game. The elevator is dedicated to media use at that time, so there is no hurry to leave the Main Press Box.

Post-Game InterviewsImmediately following the end of the game is the Championship Trophy presentation at midfield. After the customary 10-minute “cooling off ” period, the non-winning head coach and two top performing players will be escorted to the interview room. The winning team head coach, Team MVP and selected players will follow. Only accredited media with proper credentials will be admitted. A sports information representative from each team along with Bowl PR Staff will be available to assist the media.

Team locker rooms are closed. Additional requests should be directed the school sports information staff.

This is an afternoon full of fun and festivities for the fans. The school bands, cheerleaders and mascots will perform. The event will also include live bands and interactive games. The BYU Marching Band will begin its performance and the “Mighty Sound of the South” Marching Band will perform afterwards. The event is free to the public.
