TO ENSURE THAT HUMANS SAFELY REACH MARS, WITH A HABITAT FOR EXPLORATION AND HUMAN SETTLEMENT, WITHIN OUR LIFETIME.

Our Mission – Why do we Exist & Do what we Do?

Page 9: 2014 Mars Initiative briefing to ISDC 2014

- We manage the “Mars Prize Fund” - an online transparent fundraising platform that can be thought of as a public savings account for the 1st successful human Mars mission

What makes us different?

- We envision that the Mars Prize Fund will accelerate progress & encourage more organizations to focus on a human Mars mission- If 1 million people gave $2 per month, the fund would grow by a minimum of $2 million per month (less merchant fees)
