CHEER DANCE SECURITY GUIDELINES

I. Overall Guidelines XU-CSG, and the safety and security units of the university, will strictly implement NO OVERLOADING OF GYM policy during the Opening Ceremonies and Cheer Dance Competition on 13 September 2014. This policy will facilitate an orderly event, and provide an efficient control or response on possible circumstances that may affect the safety and security of the people. Lining up areas are allotted for each group of audience in order to decongest the vicinity of the gymnasium. Gates of the XU Gymnasium will open at exactly 2:00 PM. Distribution of gate passes for student will also happen at the same time. Program will start by 5:00 PM.

II. Process of Control (Students) All students are advised to bring their current university ID. Each college, school, or center will be allotted with proportionate number of seats. A gate pass will be issued per seat. Gate passes will be issued upon queuing at respective lining up area assigned to each college, school, or center. (Please see Lining Up Area for reference as to where you will line up). First come, first serve. One person per gate pass only. Upon getting inside the gymnasium, students shall present their gate pass to the in-charge. III. Process of Control (Faculty and Staff) Since there is only limited number of seats for faculty and staff (one hundred seats), proportionate number of seats will be given for each college, school, and center. Faculty and staff are advised to claim their passes through their respective administrative offices. Faculty and staff shall pass through a special entrance located at the XU Peace Park (Please see Lining Up Area for reference as to where you will pass through), and shall enter through Gate 1 (Please see Entrances for reference as to where you will enter). Faculty and staff are asked to bring their passes and their ID. One person per gate pass only.

IV. Process of Control (Complimentary Guests of the Cheer Dancers, Administrators, Sponsors, Official Photographers, Media Partners, and other invited guests [ONE-CDO, XUCPFA]) The guests are asked to bring their VIP or complimentary gate pass. For non-members of the XU community, they are asked to bring a valid ID since they will be passing through security measures at the Main Gate of the university. Guests shall pass through a special entrance located at the XU Peace Park (Please see Lining Up Area for reference as to where you will pass through), and shall enter through Gate 1 (Please see Entrances for reference as to where you will enter). One person per gate pass only.

V. Process of Control (Alumni) Limited seats are available for XU alumni (fifty seats only). Alumni are asked to present their Alumni ID issued by the Alumni Affairs Office. No ID, no seat will be granted. A gate pass will be issued per seat. Gate passes will be issued upon queuing at respective lining up area assigned to the alumni. (Please see Lining Up Area for reference as to where you will line up). Alumni shall enter through Gate 1 (Please see Entrances for reference as to where you will enter).

V. Outsiders Other guests who are not included in any of the categories shall be referred to as an outsider:XU StudentsXU Faculty and StaffXU AdministratorsXU-CSG Sponsors for the Intramurals 2014XU Graduates with Alumni IDOfficial PhotographersMedia PartnersInvited guests from ONE-CDO and XUCPFA Outsiders may gain entry in the campus, provided that they have chaperones coming from the university. But due to the limited seats, they are not allowed to gain access inside the gymnasium.
