The sweet and balanced tone of a compact orchestra-size acoustic has been a Guild staple ever since the F-30 Aragon first appeared in 1954 as the smallest member of the original Guild flat-top line. Perfect for passionately earnest strumming and delicate fingerpicking, orchestra-size models were the guitars of the folk explosion of the late 1950s and early 1960s.
GRAND ORCHESTRA SLOPE-SHOULDER
ORCHESTRA
Grand orchestra acoustics differ from their orchestra-style siblings with a wider lower bout and a narrower upper bout, enhancing bass response and imparting slightly more tightness and focus to the top end. Today’s Guild grand orchestra models are more finely crafted than ever, resonating richly with discerning players everywhere.
Slope-shoulder dreadnought guitars provide more focused sound than their square-shoulder counterparts. The gracefully curving shoulder design makes notes seem to explode from the sound hole much faster, with a clean and punchy response. Loud and very well balanced, slope-shoulder dreadnoughts are great for both lead and rhythm work.
DREADNOUGHTGuild has long excelled at what is surely the world’s most popular acoustic guitar design, building exceptional dreadnought-style acoustic guitars since the early 1960s. Designed with a pronounced emphasis on string-to-string balance, Guild dreadnought models produce a clear and articulate sound not commonly associated with this larger body style.
66
Guild Body Bracing Guild Guitars
Richly resounding Guild resonator guitars are premium instruments built to satisfy the most discerning players. These instruments produce powerful and balanced sound with sweetly sparkling highs and full-bodied lows thanks to the exclusive Guild Reflect-O-Voice system, which consists of an internal sound reflecting plate and unique six-point open soundwell.
Guild offers beautifully crafted solid-cedar-top classical guitar models that are as elegant in sound as they are in style and as luxurious in feel as they are in tone. With exceptional balance, warmth, articulation and dynamic range, they put a fine and distinctive Guild stamp on classical nylon-string design, sound and performance.
With their small bodies and distinctive voice, concert-style guitars have been popular for well more than a century. Guild has been a part of that great acoustic tradition for decades now, offering concert-style models prized for their excellent warmth, balance, projection and articulation.

CLASSICAL
With their large, rounded bodies, jumbo acoustic guitars have been a Guild specialty ever since the venerable F-50 model debuted in 1954 as the king of the original Guild flat-top line. Since then, Guild has earned and enjoyed a fine legacy of jumbo guitar models prized for their volume, projection, balance and warmth, and today their sound is richer and more powerful than ever.
