Goals:

1.) Generate enthusiasm among students and families for science and technology

2.) Give families the chance to explore hands-on science activities together

Overview

• NC Science Festival will provide curriculum, problem solve and provide evaluation data

• We ask that make use of as much of the materials you can for a fun science event for your school community

• We may contact you for a visit if our staff are in your area

• After your science night, we will email you to complete a brief survey

Making Your Event Unique

– Examples of unique events:• Have middle or high school students host

for elementary students• Take the activities back to the classroom• Ask a parent with a science career to do a

presentation• Go crazy with one activity you really like
