The Office of Global Programs hosts the annual International Education Week (IEW), an initiative developed by the U.S.
Department of Education to promote programs that prepare Americans for the global environment and attract future leaders to
study abroad, learn, exchange stories of their experiences across the globe.
This week gives all Albany State University and Dougherty County School System students, faculty, staff and the community
members a chance to share and appreciate global engagements at Albany State University (ASU). All participants will learn
through various study and exhibitions, country stands, and entertainments about the importance of international education,
which is a critical component in realizing both the USG, ASU and DCSS Strategic Plans.
You are welcome to all events.
