This Reset is to add 4’ of Crown Bolt Commercial Door Hardware products into Home Depot stores. This is a 253 store rollout to replace Schlage/Ives (Kickplates, Door Knockers, etc..) with Everbilt items removing existing fixtures and installing new set.

Shipping Guidelines: The Merchaids and Product will arrive on 1 pallet, shrink wrapped in blue with a “Hold for Crown Bolt Reset” placard placed on the pallet. Some stores will need a versa post. This will be sent into the store on the Crown Bolt normal Rod &Steel product pallet. The Crown Bolt rep should be removing this and placing in the overhead of the CDH Bay.

Pre-Installation Information – Scope Of Work Reset Installation Guide
THIS RIG IS PROPRIETARY AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
Scope of Work for 4’ of Crown Bolt Commercial Door Hardware Reset Locate Pallet of Merchaids and Product. If versa is shipped in to the store it will arrive on the Crown Bolt normal Rod & Steel product shipping pallet. The versa is to be taken off this pallet and placed in overhead of the CDH bay by the CB Merchandiser prior to reset. Remove buy back and clearance items from the current set. Give buyback sheet to DH and process clearance items for store standards, pricing and placement. Remove and demo existing wood fixture. (remove any other fixture unless a metal pegwall) Remove Schlage or Ives sign from bay (or any other overhead signage in this 4’ of section in the store). Install new versa posts (if needed), 4’ Crownwall, Heavy Duty peg hooks (for kickplates), 10” loop peg hooks for other items and 3 baskets for cross merchandise items per POG. Locate new product and place per POG.
Note that the door closers are not new items. These are currently in the screen and storm bay. These will be merchandised in the current location and the new Commercial Door Hdw bay.
Place any excess products, labeled and striped, in the overhead above the bay. Print and place price tags for all items in the bay. Re-sequence bay with THD 1st Phone. Place POG in sleeve in upright per THD standards. Clean up area and dispose of trash properly. Obtain sign off and take pictures. Post on ISIS website.

Step 1: Remove existing Schlage product from box and other areas that may be cross merchandised throughout store. Complete buy back 10 items and place other sku’s in clearance bay per store standards. Get with store personnel for pricing and placement.

Step 2: Demo wooden box and any existing overhead signage.
Step 3: Install versa posts if needed. Need 49” wide for Wall Versa Post

Step 4: Install Crownwall • The Crownwall should be assembled together stacking 42” wall on top of 42” wall (both come in the same box). • Wall should be placed 5” from the top of the base deck to the bottom of the wall and 16” back from front of beam to front of wall.

If spacing between
uprights is tight, the
adjustable arm assembly can be placed
on the outside of the
upright.
For bays that have a depth greater that 36”, an extension plate must be attached to the back end of the horizontal support arms. For bay depths between 24”, 30” and 36” no adapter is needed. For bay depth of 42”, the 8” extension bracket (part number 18255) must be used. For bay depths greater than 42”, the 14” extension bracket (part number 18256) must be used.

Step 4 (a): Install Crownwall onto 8’ wide Flex Wall • Assemble wall as directed on previous page. • Attach 3 brackets onto back of wall replacing the 2 outside screws in the top, middle and bottom of the Crow wall with those welded to brackets.
•Note: specific brackets are used for top, middle and bottom.
• Install into Flex wall standards were the bottom of the Crownwall is 5” from top of base deck to the bottom of the wall.

Step 5: Install new Merchaids per POG • Heavy Duty Peg hooks (3 prong) are to be used on kickplates only. • All other hanging items get the 10” loop hook • Install small baskets for cross merchandise items (be sure to install 1 item mounted to outside of basket for display. (these will need to be marked down)

Step 5: • Place new product on peg hooks and in baskets per POG. • Print price tags and label.
Note: The Commercial Door Closers are in the Screen and Storm bay. These 3 items will be merchandised in both locations.
• Install displays on the 3 baskets of Cross Merchandise items for the Builders Hardware bays. Use mending plates and screws on the inside of the basket to mount product displays.
