 About UsRising Phoenix Productions is a new, all-

inclusive, tuition/membership-freecommunity theatre organization in

upstate New York that is committed toapproaching different ways of putting on

productions, by exploring all different types of theatre.

Our group’s board of directors consists ofHeidi Dybas, Jeremiah Jenkins, Jeff

Morehouse, Garrett West and David

Westervelt. Having all worked withmultiple theatre organizations in the past,we have taken our combined experiences to create our own organization that will

allow us to think outside of the box, as wellas to produce shows that will appeal to a

wide range of audiences.

Our company plans to produce a widearray of genres, that include musicals,comedies, dramas, dinner theatre andinteractive theatre, just to name a few.

Our motto is “the sky’s the limit”.

We are accepting of many different agegroups and backgrounds, and we will be

sure to present many opportunities for all to participate. 

Upcoming ProductionsOur grand venture will begin with Beforethe Parade Passes By , a loving tribute to

 the late, great Fran Williams, who inspiredcountless people in the theatrical

arts. This revue will be presented in May,under the direction of Jeremiah Jenkins.We will continue our journey, as we plan

 to present Les Misérables , which will bedirected by Garrett West. The TonyAward-winning international musical

phenomenon will be presented in

August. More information on bothproductions will be announced at a later

date.

Fundraising

On Tuesday, November 11 th, we launchedour Kickstarter campaign. We have 60days to reach our goal of $2,500, whichwill help us fund our productions. Pleaseconsider making a donation; any amount
