Affiliating university introduces several reforms for evaluation process, which are
adopted by the college. Some reforms are also initiated by the college within the
framework of university instructions.
An important evaluation reform is internal assessment, which carries a
weightage of 10-20% of total marks. The assessment depends on consistent
performance of the student in class, mid semester exam, assignment, project,
presentation etc.
For practical subject like physics, chemistry, etc. internal assessment is given
depending on the student’s performance in practicals, viva-voce etc. External
examiner is appointed for conducting practical examination.
Institution conducts 2 mid-term House Exams for annual classes and 1 mid-
term Exam for semester classes.
Answer booklets are evaluated by the respective teachers.
College keeps the record of these marks.
For giving internal assessment (IA) these marks are given a significant weight
age.
