Doane College at Midland University

Doane wraps up a three-game road swing with a trip to Fremont on Wednesday evening. The Warriors enter the game with a 7-13 record and 2-9 mark in the GPAC which is a deceiving record because a majority of the losses have come in close games.

Six players average over eight points per game and five are in double figures. Jaylan Spencer comes off the bench and leads the team with 12.8 points to go with 5.4 rebounds. Jamilah Johnson runs the show for the Warriors and they go how she goes. Johnson averages 12.2 points and 3.6 assists. Taylor Shepard leads the team in rebounds with 7.5 a contest.

Midland is averaging 73.6 points per game while shooting 42.7-percent from the floor.

Game Day - No. 23 - January 24

Doane College vs. Mount Marty College

Mount Marty is getting hot at the right time, winning 7-of-8 entering the week with the lone loss by two points at nationally-ranked Briar Cliff. Overall, the Lancers are 14-7 on the season and 5-7 in the GPAC.

Entering the week the Lancers have three players averaging double figures. Alex Kneeland is posting 16.1 points per game and leads the threat behind the arc, hitting 63-of-179 (35%). April Winne and Raquel Sutera are also 3-point threats, averaging 11.9 and 10.6 points, respectively. Sutera leads the team with 8.1 rebounds a game. Amber Hegge adds 9.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and leads the team with 31 steals and 16 blocks.

As a team the Lancers are scoring 77.6 points per game and shooting 36-percent behind the arc. Nearly 45-percent of their shot attempts are from 3-point range.
