Tournament DetailsThe VGT Royalwood Open is a 36-HOLE MAJOR event for PROS &

CHAMPIONSHIP AMATEURS. Amateurs will compete against all

Professionals in this Open event for the Overall Title.

Full Field Size: 100 Pros; 20 Championship Amateurs

Professional Purse: $35,000 (based on full field).

First place: $6,500. Top 33% of field will be paid out.

Amateurs finishing in the top 33% will be awarded gift cards valued

up to $1,000 (or the equivalent to the pro cheque in that spot if under

$1,000). Amateur payouts will contribute to the overall purse.

Eligibility Open to all male and female VGT Professionals and Amateurs with 5.0

Golf Canada hdcp factor or less. Priority will be given to Members in

the Professional and amateur field. Non-members are eligible to play

when field size is not full at time of Registration Deadline.

Entry Fee & Registration:

VGT MAJOR SERIES Member: $450 + GST

VGT Professional (non-Majors): $500 + GST Non-Member Professional: $550 + GST

VGT Amateur Member: $200 + GST

NON-Member Amateur: $250 + GST

MAJORS SERIES ORDER OF MERIT Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded based on the following

point system for this event:

1st Place: 5000 pts 11th place: 1200 pts 21st place: 340 pts 31st: 140 pts

2nd Place: 3500 pts 12th place: 1100 pts 22nd place: 320 pts 32nd: 120 pts

3rd Place: 3200 pts 13th place: 1000 pts 23rd place: 300 pts 33rd: 100 pts

4th Place: 2800 pts 14th place: 900 pts 24th place: 280 pts







MAJOR SERIES $5,000 ORDER OF MERIT BONUS

The MAJORS SERIES ORDER OF MERIT CHAMPION will WIN a $5,000 CDN Cash

bonus at the end of the Vancouver Open! (Based on minimum of 60 Pros in each

of first 5 events and 100 Pros in Vancouver Open)

TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION & LATE PAYMENTS

• We WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT any email, phone call, text, twitter or

Facebook requests for tournament registrations.• All MAJORS SERIES entries are payable by the registration deadline

which is 10 days prior to the first round of an event. All entries

received after this time will be subject to a $25+GST late payment fee.

• VGT MAJORS SERIES Members have the option to pay online or

ensure that a post-dated cheque for each event is received by the

Tour Office no later than 10 days prior to an event.

• All cheques are to be made out in CDN funds and made payable to

PRACTICE ROUND ARRANGEMENTS:

PGA of Canada and PGA TOUR CANADA Professionals are asked to call Head

round on Monday-Friday leading up to the event.

Non-Carded Professionals and Championship Amateurs are being offered the

following practice round rates:

• $25.00 plus GST any time in April and May leading up to the event.

The field will be cut to the top 20+ties thru 36-holes. All players making the

cut will be paid.

54-HOLE VANCOUVER OPEN: $100,000 based on 156 Professionals.

The field will be cut to the top 33% + ties thru 36-holes. All players making

the cut will be paid. Based on full field, the top 52 pros and ties would make

the cut.

• Local hotel partner(s) and long-stay accommodations TBA

West Coast Golf Group Invitational • PGA TOUR Canada and PGA of Canada Professionals are to contact

the Pro-shop of each golf course to book practice times.

Professionals will be offered complimentary golf in quiet times.

• Non-carded Professionals will be offered a ½ price green fee rate of

the posted green fee at each golf course. Players are asked to contact

the host professional at each club to make their booking.

Vancouver Open - Fraserview, McCleery & Langara Golf Course

• Van Open Practice Round Package – 3 rounds x $33.33 = $100.00+GST.

(To be used in April and May only). These will be available online atwww.vancouvergolftour.com as of April 15

thand can be picked up at

any Spring VGT event. There will also be an announcement for all

players looking to book practice rounds in the 2 weeks leading up to the

Vancouver Open. Players are to contact VGT to arrange to pick up these

special practice round passes.

Players will be sent any further information by email once we have

confirmed official practice round procedures at other courses on the MAJORS

rotation.
