    TOURNAMENT FIELD

    The field shall be limited to 120 players.

    Nationals of each Country/Federation/Union/Association/Academy other than Hosts, may nominate/field

    maximum of 8 junior players (combined all division / categories Boys and / or Girls). A specific request

    may be made for any additional Overseas Player, which shall be subject of approval of Tournament

    Committee (TC). The TC has the right to modify /alter/finalize the number of golfers to play in this

    tournament.

    ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA

    (a) All amateur players conforming in all respects to the rules of Amateur status as laid down by the

    R & A Rules Ltd (Boys & Girls), between the ages of 6 to 17 yrs (must have completed 6 yrs &

    not completed their 18th

    birthday on November 29, 2013) are age eligible to play.

    (b) A players age as on, November 29, 2013 will determine his/her age bracket, for the above

    tournament. It is mandatory for all players to submit valid proof of DOB (copy of PP/Birth certissued by Municipal Authorities), if not submitted earlier.

    (c) Entry forms are accepted/have to be filled online only atwww.albatross.co.inEntry Open (last

    date October 31, 2013).

    (d) No E mail entries. Invalid/incomplete entries will not be accepted.

    (e) Age Category and handicap eligibility for the Championship shall be as under and be strictly

    adhered to when accepting entries.

    The Tournament Committee shall be within its right to decline an entry to any Player without assigning

    any reason. There shall not be any first come first serve basis criterion. Filling of an Entry form online

    does not guarantee a spot in the tournament. The preference shall be given to Overseas Players,

    Albatross Tournament Winners of 2013, Albatross Order of Merit Players, 2013, Top Three Winners of 4th

    Albatross International in that order. The endeavor shall be to maintain 1/3 rd of the field attributed to Girl

    Players. The handicap criterion shall form the basis of above selection as mentioned above. An entry ofthe Player may be declined without having to assign any reason. In such an event, the entry fee, less

    10% processing charges, shall be refunded. Entries may be closed before last date, deadline. Waitlisted

    or whose names do not appear in final list shall be refunded.

    TOURNAMENT INDIVIDUAL FORMAT

    a. There shall be 54 Holes Gross Stroke Play for all Category A, B, C & D (Boys & Girls) on Main

    Course. No cut shall be applied.

    b. There shall be 54 Holes Gross Stroke Play for Category E (Boys & Girls) on Junior Course.

    c. The championship shall be decided by Three rounds of 18 holes each played by stroke in

    accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St.

    Andrews, and the local rules approved by the championship Committee.

    d. The player with the lowest aggregate score for the tournament shall be the winner.

    e. In the event of a tie or ties for the first place, there will be Sudden Death Play off, hole by hole,

    immediately after the completion of the stipulated round.

    f. The Tournament Committee will decide the sequence of the play off. For all other ties the basisfor deciding will be the lowest score over the final round, if tied, last 9, 6, 3, 2, 1 holes respectively

    (Back Nine of the course Hole Nos.10-18).

    TOURNAMENT - TEAM FORMAT

    A players age as on November 29, 2013 will determine their age

    category for the tournament. It is mandatory for all players to

    a. There shall be a team event for categories as set out below. There shall be a separate team

    (Boys & Girls each) for Categories A & B put together and separate for Cat C & D.

    b. Each Boys Team (AB) shall comprise of two (2) players- one from Age Category A and one from

    Category B. Each Boys Team (CD) shall comprise of two (2) players each from Category C and

    Category D. Each Girls Team (A&B) and (C&D) shall comprise of two (2) players, in any

    combination of the two categories. To illustrate team shall be as below :-

    c. The team Championship shall consist of 54 holes for the Boys and Girls event. The total of the

    teams score for the 3 rounds shall constitute the teams score for the championship. The team

    returning the lowest aggregate gross score for the championship shall be the winner.

    d. Team members shall be named and notified in writing to the Tournament Committee at

    [email protected] during Captains meeting on November 26, 2013. Each country may

    nominate maximum of Three (3) teams for each category.

    e. Disqualification of any team member in any round under the Rules of Golf shall not affect a

    subsequent round unless the Tournament Committee deems otherwise.

    AWARDS AND PRIZES

    1. Boys and Girls Team Championship

    The Albatross Trophy shall be awarded to the Boys and Girls Team Champions in both

    categories (teams with the lowest 3 day total score). In addition Individual Prizes will be awarded

    to the members of the winning team.

    2. Individual Championship

    a. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winner and 3 runners-up of Boys Categories

    A, B, C & D.

    b. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the winner and 2 runners-up of Girls Categories

    A, B, C & D.

    c. Trophies and prizes shall be awarded to the winner and 2 runners-up in Category E.

    Merge Categories

    OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

    Players are entitled to one Official Free practice round on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at Jaypee

    Greens. Tee Off time for practice round shall be uploaded on the website and on the official

    Notice Board a day prior.

    IF THERE IS LESS THAN 5 ENTRIES IN

    ANY OF THE CATEGORIES, INDIVUDALPRIZES MAY BE AWARDED ONLY TO

    THE WINNER AND RUNNER-UP IN

    THAT CATEGORY.

    On arrival, players are required to register personally on November 26, 2013 at Registration

    Desk. Players will receive the Welcome Pack which may includeweeks schedule, Albatross

    bulletin of good behavior, Player badges, goodie bags and coupons for F & B. Players will receive

    an official Albatross Tournament Badge.

    The badge must be carried at all times. This badge allows players access to Restaurants,

    ceremonies and practice areas. The badge also permits access to recreational activities at

    Jaypee Greens.

    One registered official per country will also receive a badge, entitling them to all scheduled meals

    during the above period.

    Parents , Siblings , Relations, Friends are all welcome during the tournament. Parents may havemeals at the clubhouse/ on course on direct payment. Parents may also participate in any of the

    ceremonies on payment of requisite charges which will be intimated at the time of registration of

    the player.

    2 ENTRY & REFUND POLICY/CADDIE FEE

    Entries are accepted online only at www.albatross.co.in.

    The Entry fee is USD ($) 150/- for Overseas players @ Rs 66.60 = $1 ( approx) Rs 10,000/- only.

    The Entry Fee for Indian Resident Players shall be Indian Rupees 6000/- (inclusive of Service

    Tax, as applicable).

    The Entry fee entitles a player to Free Practice round, Three (3) Competition rounds, 25 nos

    Complimentary Range Balls on Tournament Days, Opening ceremony Banquet, packaged Lunch

    on each tournament day and Awards Lunch besides complimentary water/Juice during the

    competition.

    Entry fee will only be refunded (less 10% processing charges) wherein a written request / mail is

    received from the player or on his/her behalf withdrawing / cancelling their entry for the

    tournament on or before November 05, 2013. No Withdrawals / Cancellations shall be valid for

    Refund, for any reason whatsoever, after November 05, 2013.

    Only in case the tournament is washed out and under circumstances where play could not be

    started due inclement weather on all days, entry fees will be refunded through debit / credit card

    less 10% processing fee.

    Caddy fee of Rs.450/- (including tax) per round is payable directly to Host Club. Caddy Tip of

    Rs.100/- per round is advised. However, players are permitted to have Outside Caddies at own

    cost subject to intimation by mail 15 Days in advance at [email protected]. No extra fee shall

    be payable to Host Club for bringing in Outside Caddies.

    3. ACCOMMODATION FOR PLAYERS, OFFICIALS AND PARENTS

    The Albatross has partnered with Jaypee Greens and the official hotel for the tournament atJAYPEE DELCOURT, Jaypee Greens, (inside Golf course complex). Golf course / Hotel is about1 Hr 1hr 30 min Drive from IGI Airport depending on Time of travel. There is limitedaccommodation available, preference shall be given to overseas contingents.

    6. VISA REQUIREMENTS

    All overseas participants are advised to check/obtain visa for entry into India. Pl note that subject to on

    arrival visa for few nationalities - no provision of grant of visa on arrival exists at IGI Airport, New Delhi

    and anyone without a valid visa will be denied entry into India. Foreign participant requiring any special

    7. CURRENCY

    The currency in use in India is INR/Rupees/Rs. The approximate exchange rate, as on date, is US$1.00

    = Rs 66.60 (approx). All are cautioned about the rapidly fluctuating currency conversion for past few

    months and thus can have impact on

    8. DRESS CODE

    The dress code for the opening ceremony, Award ceremony and buffet is formal and for other scheduled

    events smart golf attire. It is the responsibility of each player to be aware of and abide by, the Dress Code

    of the Host Club. A copy of this will be pasted on the Information Board at the Tournament Office. Both on

    and off the Course and in the Clubhouse, players should observe appropriate dress code.

    In general however, the following rules must be observed:

    Denim wear including jeans, is not permitted

    Swimwear and athletic attire is not allowed.

    Shirts should be collared and worn tucked inside trousers / shorts / skirts.

    Shorts/Skirts should be tailored and of a conservative length.

    Footwear should be worn at all times and notice taken of Host Club rules regarding spike shoes.

    No slippers during award ceremony are allowed .

    9. CAPTAINS MEETING

    A Captains meeting is scheduled on November 26, 2013 at 3:30 pm at Tournament Office. Captains

    from each Team are requested to attend. The Captains will be provided a Captain tag & briefing notes for

    the tournament.

    10. OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

    An official Tee practice round is scheduled on November 26, 2013. Pairings & tee times will be

    published/ available at the Registration desk in advance and shall also be uploaded on the web site

    www.albatross.co.in& Club/Hotel notice board.

    11. PRACTICE RANGE/FACILITIES

    Free Use of Driving Range and complementary 25 practice balls each Tournament Day will be made

    available each day to competitors from November 27 to 29, 2013. The practice range is open from 06:00

    am to 6:00 pm.

    12. REGISTRATION

    Registration is open on November 26, 2013, from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm only. All players must register in

    person at Registration Desk Jaypee Greens.

    Breakfast will be provided to all residents at the official hotel. All Participants are required to attend

    Welcome & Award Ceremony. Friends and family may obtain coupons to attend the official and Award

    buffet at Rs 1500/- per person.

    14. EQUIPMENT & VALUABLES

    Players shall be responsible for their own golf equipments and valuables.

    15. WEATHER

    The weather in late November is expected to be pleasant with chilly nights & mornings and relatively dry

    at that time of the year. Temperatures are expected to be in the range of 10 - 18 C (approx).

    16. INSURANCE

    All overseas competitors & accompanying parents are advised & responsible to carry adequate personal

    and medical insurance.

    17. COUNTRY FLAG & NATIONAL ANTHEM

    All teams are requested to bring along their National Flag and National Anthem (in the form of CD) for the

    Opening Ceremony.

    CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION FOR PLAYERS

    1. GENERAL

    5TH ALBATROSS INTERNATIONAL JUNIOR GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP INDIA 2013 is being hosted byAlbatross Junior Tour, India (for short AJT) and will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf asapproved by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, and the Local Rules of Jaypee Greens Golf

    Course, as approved by the Tournament Committee. These Local Rules will be made available toplayers on request upon registration.

    The Tournament Committee shall be appointed by AJT, India and shall consist of:-

    a) The Tournament Director.

    b) Chairman, Tournament Committee, AJT.

    c) Nominee of Albatross Junior Tour.

    d) Chief Rules Official/Referee.

    e) The Secretary/Golf Capt of the Host club (or his duly authorized rep). For the purposes of Rule33-7 quorum shall consist of the Tournament Director and any two of the other TournamentCommittee Members.

    2. ELIGIBILITY

    The Championship is open to all junior golfers, who have completed their 6 th birthday before November26, 2013 and not yet reached their 18th birthday on the last day of the championship, age as onNovember 29, 2013will determine the players age category/eligibility. The Clause 7(iv) of TournamentInformation be read as part of this condition.

    a) Must conform in all respects to the Rules of Amateur Status as laid down by the R&ARules Limited; and

    b) Have a USGA handicap index or other handicap specified/accepted by the TournamentCommittee

    c) Entries are accepted online only. Participants are required to mail a scanned copy oftheir valid proof of Date of Birth Certificate (or copy of passport in proof), if not doneearlier. The scanned copy can be mailed at [email protected] or copy can beFaxed at+91 11 41630524.

    3. SPECIFICATION OF THE BALL (NOTE TO RULE 5-1)

    LIST OF CONFORMING GOLF BALLS

    The ball the player plays must be named on the current List of Conforming Golf Balls issued by the R&A.

    PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION: Disqualification.

    DRIVING CLUBS

    The driver the competitor carries must have a club-head, identified by model and loft that is named onthe current R & A List of Conforming Driver Heads issued by R&A. Penalty for making stroke with club inbreach of condition: Disqualification.

    4. TIME OF STARTING (NOTE TO RULE 6-3A)

    A player should report to the Starter on the assigned Tee 15 minutes before his/her starting time.

    If the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, in the

    absence of circumstances that warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as provided in rule 33-7,the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes to be added to the score on the first hole. Penalty forlateness beyond five minutes is disqualification.

    5. PACE OF PLAY (NOTE 2 TO RULE 6-7)

    Competitors will be notified of the time allowed for a round. The time will be broken down into timing foreach individual hole.

    In the absence of mitigating circumstances, a Category is liable to be timed if it is in excess of the time

    allowed and in the case of second or subsequent Categories, out of position. From the commencementof timing, if any player exceeds 50 seconds on a first to play shot, or 40 seconds if it is a second, thirdor fourth to play shot, he/she is deemed to have had a bad time.

    PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION:

    One bad time --- Verbal warning from Official or Referee

    Two bad times --- One stroke penalty

    Three bad times--- Two stroke penalty

    Four bad times --- Disqualification

    A player whose Category has been timed will have a bad time carried forward in the round even if theCategory subsequently arrived back in position in relation to the Category in front or within its allottedtime.

    The committee may apply a penalty for undue delay (Rule 6-7) without prior warning to a Category that isseriously out of position at the end of the round.

    6. SUSPENSION OF PLAY DUE TO DANGEROUS SITUATION (NOTE TO RULE 6-8b)

    6.1 Dangerous Situation:

    If during play it becomes necessary to suspend play for a dangerous situation (e.g. lightning), playersmust discontinue play immediately. A suspension for a dangerous situation will be signaled by aprolonged note of the klaxon/siren/PA announcement.

    6.2 Discontinuation of Play:

    If during the tournament it becomes necessary to suspend play, three consecutive notes repeated, willbe sounded on a klaxon/siren or notification will be otherwise communicated to the players. On beingadvised of suspension, competitors must not play any shot from the teeing ground unless any player inhis Category has commenced play of the hole.

    6.3 Resumption of Play:

    As soon as conditions allow play to be resumed, two short blasts on the klaxon/siren will be sounded ornotification will otherwise be communicated to the players. On being advised of the resumption, play willbe recommenced immediately by all competitors on the course.

    PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION: Disqualification unless circumstances warrant waiving thepenalty as provided in Rule 33-7.

    7. PRACTICE DURING ROUND (NOTE 2 TO RULE 7-2)

    Between the play of two holes, a player must not make any practice stroke on or near the putting green ofthe hole last played and must not test the surface of the putting green of the hole last played by rolling a

    ball or roughening or scraping the surface.

    PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION: Stroke play - Two strokes at the next hole.

    In the case of a breach at the last hole of the stipulated round, the player incurs the penalty at that hole.

    8. TRANSPORTATION

    Players must not ride on any form of transportation during a stipulated round unless authorized by theTournament Committee, or an official.

    PENALTY FOR BREACH OF CONDITION:

    (a) Two strokes for each hole at which any breach occurred; maximum penalty per round: Fourstrokes.

    (b) In the event of a breach between the play of two holes, the penalty applies to the next hole.

    Procedure When Breach Discovered:

    Use of any unauthorized form of transportation must be discontinued immediately upon discovery that abreach has occurred. Otherwise, the player is disqualified.

    9. ADVICE IN TEAM COMPETITIONS (NOTE TO RULE 8)

    In accordance with the Note to Rule 8 of the Rules of Golf, each team may appoint one person (inaddition to the persons from whom advice may be asked under that Rule) who may give advice to

    members of that team during a round from a Green to subsequent Tee. Such person may not be aprofessional golfer and must be identified to the Committee (during the Teams Captains meeting), beforegiving advice

    10. CADDIE

    A player is permitted during the competition to use a caddie, provided he has only one caddie at any onetime. A player is however prohibited from having a professional golfer/coach/parent/sibling serve as hiscaddie during the stipulated round. Exception: Players of D & E Categories may have a parent serve as

    his/her caddie. Players are permitted to avail services of other than host club caddies, at own cost,subject to prior intimation by mail 15 days in advance at [email protected]

    11. NO SMOKING/LIQUOR/INTOXICANTS/DRUGS

    Smoking and consumption of liquor is strictly prohibited during the tournament by any Player. A breachof this Rule will result in penalty of disqualification. No player will knowingly use performance enhancingdrugs during the tournament.

    12. UNBECOMING CONDUCT

    The Committee may in its discretion impose a penalty of two strokes or disqualification wherein a playerhas been observed behaving in a manner unbecoming of a golfer including but not limited to swearing,altercation with gallery/fellow competitor, throwing golf clubs or any other acts which may be tantamountto an act contrary to laid down rules/regulations and etiquettes of golf, etc.

    13. MARKERS

    The Organizing Committee may at its discretion provide markers for Categories, as it may deem fit.

    Each player will be assigned as marker (see Rule 6 -6) to record the score of another player in thesame Category. The marker shall be responsible for recording the players correct score after each hole.After completion of the round the player shall:

    a) Check his/ her hole-by-hole score for accuracy.

    b) Settle any doubtful points with the Committee.

    c) Ensure that his/ her marker has signed his/ her card.

    d) Countersign the card him/ herself, and

    15. RETURNING SCORECARDS UPON COMPETITION OF ROUND

    Players are reminded of their responsibilities under Rule 6-6b which states:-

    Signing and Returning Card: After completion of the stipulated round, the competitor should check theirscore for each hole and settle any doubtful points with the Committee. They shall ensure that the markerhas signed the card, countersign the card themselves and return it to the Committee as soon aspossible.

    (Penalty for breach of Rule 6-6b Disqualification)

    If a competitor does not return their card within 15 minutes of completion of their stipulated round(without good reason) they will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Committee. Cardsmust be returned to the Albatross official at the scoring area in the Tournament Office. A card may bechanged up until the time it is handed in, when the card will be considered as having been returned tothe Committee.

    16. HOW TO DECIDE TIES

    Individual Competition

    a. In the event of a tie for first place, the players tying shall, as soon as possible after theannouncement of the tie, participate in a play-off, hole-by-hole, until the winner is decided(sudden-death).

    b. The play of holes and sequence of play will be decided by the Tournament Director.

    c. All other ties will be decided by count back. The count back procedure to be used will be:-

    i) The best score of the 18 holes (1-18) of the final round. If still tie,

    ii) The best score of the last nine holes (10 to 18) of the final round. If still tie,

    iii) The best score of the last six holes (13 to 18) of the final round. If still tie,

    iv) The best score of the last three holes (16 to 18) of the final round. If still tie,

    v) Hole by hole count back (Final round) will decide the winner,

    If there is still no result then the winner shall be decided by the toss of a coin or by suchother procedure as the Committee and Tournament director officially announce.

    vi) It is clarified that last 9, 6 or 3 Holes shall be the back 9, 6, or 3 of the Course for thepurpose of (ii) to (v) above .

    Team Competition

    In the event of tie for Gross Team Score competition, the same rule as for individual competitionwill apply for both the team members.

    17. RESULT OF THE COMPETITION

    The result of the competition is deemed to have been officially announced only when the final resultssheet is placed on the official notice board or the website www.albatross.co.in under RESULTS.(Live Score on website is provisional.)

    18. DISPUTES AND DOUBTFUL POINTS

    Any disputes or doubtful points must be referred to the Tournament Committee within 15 minutes aftercompletion of each round.

    19. DRAW

    The draw for the first round is left to the discretion of the Tournament Director, except players belongingto the same division shall be drawn together. For the last two rounds, starting times shall be based on

    scores returned in previous round(s). Tee offs will commence simultaneously at 08:00 AM (or such othertime as may be decided by Committee) everyday from Tees No 1 & 10 as per draw. The draw shall beuploaded on website and also placed on official Notice Board. The responsibility to know his draw/Timeof starting rests with the player.

    The Tournament Committee shall be appointed by the Albatross Junior Tour India. It shall be within thediscretion of Tournament Committee to add/delete/alter/change/modify the Tournament conditions at anytime as it may deem fit.

    21. DISPUTE AS TO CORRECT PROCEDURE

    If there is a doubt as to correct procedure, players are to refer to the Tournament Director. If theTournament Director is not immediately available, a Player (having notified his marker), may elect to playtwo balls in accordance with Rule 3.33 and obtain the ruling at the conclusion of the round, prior tosigning and submission of the score card.

    22. TOURNAMENT REFREE

    The Tournament Referees decisions on all matters pertaining to rules of Golf are final and binding.

    23. RULES OF GOLF

    Play will be governed by the Rules of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews and the Local Rulesof Classic Golf Resorts. Disputes, if any, will be settled by the Tournament Committee whose decisionsshall be final.

    24. SPECTATOR POLICY

    Gallery/spectators are permitted to walk on the course during a stipulated round. Spectator support

    is appreciated at all AJT events and all are encouraged to follow the competition.

    Gallery/spectators must walk in the Cart Path and remain clear of fairways & Greens and advised

    to maintain a minimum distance of 25 meters from the players. Spectators/gallery are not

    permitted to ride. Exception: Senior Citizen above 65 years or physically disabled person holding

    valid Disability Certificate against proper hiring from the Club.

    Spectators may help competitors to look for their ball, carry umbrellas, food or drink. Spectators

    are not permitted to interact/advice/instruct/interfere with any players during the stipulated round.Under no circumstances is a spectator allowed to offer advice/communicate with a contestant

    during the round.

    First violation: Verbal warning,

    Second infringement: 2 stroke penalty to player and spectator removed from course.

    25. ELECTRONIC DEVICES/MOBILE PHONES

    Use of Mobile Phones/electronic devices/sky caddies/range finders/binoculars etc on course, duringcompetition, is prohibited. Penalty for first offence: DISQUALIFICATION.

    Exception: The use of mobile phones to call for a Rules Official and emergency.

    26. LOCAL RULES

    The following Conditions of Competition and Local Rules have been formulated in accordance with theRules of Golf, R&A Rules Limited. In the event of a dispute arising as to the meaning of any Rule ofGolf, the Rule shall be interpreted according to the English Edition of the Rules of Golf.

    1. OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 27)

    a) Beyond boundary fence which determines by the nearest inside points at ground level of thestakes or fence posts.

    b) As defined by white stakes or white lines. Where both white stakes and lines are in existence,the white line defines out of bounds margin.

    2. WATER HAZARDS (INCLUDING LATERAL WATER HAZARDS) (RULE 26)

    a) Water Hazards are defined by yellow stake and/or yellow line. Where yellow lines are inexistence they define the margin.

    b) Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red markers. Where red lines are in existence they definethe margin.

    c) The outside edge of the concrete drainage where not marked. A ball is in lateral water hazard if itcomes to rest beyond or touch the edge of the concrete drainage on the water side.

    DROPPING ZONE FOR WATER HAZARDS

    If a players ball comes to rest in or it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not bee n found is inthe water hazard (specify location), the player may proceed under rule 26 or drop a ball in the dropping

    zone provided under penalty of one stroke.

    Note: When dropping a ball in a dropping zone, a dropped ball shall not be re-dropped if it comes to restwithin two club-lengths of the spot where it first struck a part of the course even though it may finishoutside the boundaries of the dropping zone or nearer the hole.

    3. ABNORMAL GROUND CONDITIONS (25-1)

    a) Relief is available for lie of ball or area of intended swing from painted yardage spot situated inany closely mown area through the green.

    b) Fire ant mounds or beds. In a water hazard, relief from fire ant mounds or beds (Dangeroussituation) is provided by Decision 1-4/10.

    4. GROUND UNDER REPAIR

    a) All areas bounded by white lines

    b) Any seam of new turf through the green interfering with the lie of ball or area of intended swing.All seams forming part of the condition are to be treated as the same seam for the purposes ofRule 20-2c (re-dropping).

    5. EMBEDDED BALL

    a) Relief extended to through the green

    EXCEPTION:

    i) A player may not take relief under this Local Rule if the ball is embedded in sand in anarea that is not closely mown.

    ii) A player may not take relief under this Local Rule if it is clearly unreasonable for him tomake a stroke because of interference by anything other than the condition covered bythis Local Rule.

    6. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTION (24-2)

    i) White lined areas adjoining any areas defined as immovable obstructions are to be regarded aspart of the obstruction and not GUR.

    ii) Landscaped garden areas surrounded by an obstruction are part of that obstruction.

    iii) Drainage channels adjacent to and parallel to concrete cart parts should be treated as oneobstruction.

    7. INTEGRAL PART OF THE COURSE

    i) Wood or Material wrapping the tree or other objects where they are closely attached to trees.

    ii) All flowers beds.

    8. PERMANENT ELEVATED CABLES

    i) A players stroke must be cancelled and replayed without penalty (see Rule 20-5) if the ballstrikes an elevated power line. If the ball is not immediately recoverable, another ball may besubstituted.

    EXCEPTION:

    A ball striking an elevated junction section of cable rising from the ground shall not be replayed.

    9. TEMPORARY IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (APPENDIX I PART B-7)

    i) When a players ball lies in, on or under a temporary immovable obstruction or so closeto that obstruction that it interferes with the players stance or area of intended swingand relief is required, if dropping zones have been marked, the player must drop the ballin the nearest dropping zone.

    ii) A white line indicates either the front edge of the temporary obstruction or joins multiple

    obstructions. A ball touching the line is deemed to be in the obstruction.

    iii) Permanent advertising board, advertising board situated around teeing grounds, holenumber distance sign, clock signboard, tents, and scoreboards.

    iv) Advertising boards around putting green 9 and 18.

    v) Leader board besides Hole 18.

    Note: Relief may be taken on either side but not nearer the hole.

    10. DESIGNATED PRACTICE AREAS

    i) The practice putting and chipping areas are near Tee No.1 and 10 besides the designatedpractice range.

    A copy of the local rules as applicable at the Classic Golf Resorts will be made available to all players
