Welcome To The Jackson Jt. Park & Rec.Dear Jackson Community- We are in the process of revising our 2008 Parks, Recreation & Open Space Plan for both the Village and the Town of Jackson. This plan required by the DNR, not only qualifies the Village and the Town for grant opportunities, but it also helps us plan for the future of our Community. This will ensure quality of life opportunties for all generations. Please watch for public meetings - your input is incredibly essential for the revision this plan. After all, it’s your community and you should have a voice. Using the current plan as our guide, the Joint Parks & Recreation Committee along with the Jt. Parks & Recreation Department, has worked very hard to serve the Jackson Community. Several projects defined by the past plan include: the Community Center, the Splash Park, the playground at the Town Hall & Park, and the upgrade of Village Playgrounds to name a few.

So that being said, whether you’re a Town of Jackson resident or a Village of Jackson resident – WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! Our mission: “To offer quality of life opportunities to people of all ages and abilities at an affordable cost”, will continue to be our driving force. We realize that not all people and families can afford private clubs or places like the YMCA for enrichment and physical health. So, if you haven’t come to see us at the Jackson Area Community Center, come see us soon and we can find opportunities just for you. Together we will strive in “MAKING JACKSON A PLACE TO CALL HOME”!!

I look forward to seeing you!
