Activities going on during the weekend • Make-n-Take builds: This year we are please to be able to offer the following builds - LED

Lights, Simple Prop Controller, Milk Jug Skulls, Pouring Liquid, Haunted Bookcase, Flying Crank Ghost, One-Armed Grave Grabber, Swaying Zombie. It’s a lot of classes, so no one should be bored.

• Demos and Classes: Demo’s and/or haunt related Classes for this year include - Soldering 101,

DMX Controllers, Fog Machines, and Projections (house, pumpkin, etc). • • Silent Auction: We are NOT going to hold a silent auction this year. Instead we will have a

‘donation’ box with a suggestioned donation (per person), to help cover the costs of the annual gathering.

• Prop-Swap: We do want to continue the tradition of the prop-swap. Members who have items

they want to sell or trade, are encouraged to bring them to the Annual Gathering, where a special area will be set up for you to display your items.

• Back Stage Tour: The tour everyone looks forward to each year, this year we scheduled to do

a lights-on back-stage tour at the new Castle of Chaos Orem. • Show-n-Tell: Don’t forget to bring items you have been working on this year, that you want the

whole group to see. We’ve got time allotted to allow everyone to show off their haunt skills! It is always great to see what other members of the group are doing. And a great opportunity to get some great ideas from others in the group.

• Food and Socializing: We are keeping with the ‘simple’ the food again this year, so the only

meals we are offering is the Bar-B-Queue dinner on Friday and the Pizza dinner on Saturday. The other meals will be on your own. Since we are at Stringtown, there is also the use of the pool, and rides on the train. So bring a towel and suit, and don’t miss a ride on the train! The pool hours will be posted, so check the pool gate for times.

Castle of Chaos Orem (from Stringtown) Head West on 200 N. Turn left onto 400 E, and head south (1 mile) Turnright on 1600 N in Orem (stop light), and get into the left turn lane. Turn left on State, and head south (5 miles) Turn right onto University Parkway, and head west. Turn left on 200 E, and head south. Turn into the parking lot of the strip mall on your right. The Castle of Chaos is the second store from the end on your right (you should see the sign).

Directions To Stringtown from the North From Salt Lake, and points north, travel South on I-15 to Lindon in Utah County Take exit 275 and turn left on Pleasant Grove Blvd Take the first right (700 North Lindon) Continue to the second light (State Street) and turn right. Drive south to the second light (400 North Lindon), and turn left. Drive up the hill to the second stop sign (400 East), and turn right. Take the second left (200 North), and you will see the home at 455 E (Stringtown) on your left.

Directions To Stringtown From the South From Orem/Provo, and points south, travel North on I-15 to Lindon, in Utah County, Take exit 273 and turn right on 1600 North Orem, Travel up to the fifth light (400 West) and turn left (400 West is the first light past State Street), Continue North on 400 West Orem, to 200 North Lindon. (the road changes from 400 West in Orem, to 400 East in Lindon as you cross the first stop sign, the second stop sign is Center Street in Lindon). Turn right on 200 North, and you will see the home at 455 East (Stringtown) on your left.
