About LVGS - League Philosophy
LVGS a member Lenape Valley Recreational Council (LVRC) ◦ Started in 1965, the association is dedicated to developing the qualities of sportsmanship,
integrity and self-confidence in our children. Participants learn the fundamentals of sports while the rules of good conduct are stressed and self-discipline is encouraged
◦ LVGS is a part of LVRC is a 501(c)3 (Tax Exempt) organization◦ We share the ‘Not for Profit’ administrative costs (#23-6463350) with LV Football &
Cheer, LV Basketball, LV Baseball, & CB West Ice Hockey

Play by ASA (Amateur Softball Association) Rules (w/modifications) Helmets with cages & chin straps are required
Divisions every 2 years, based upon age as of December 31st Each Registered Player has ASA Insurance

League Meetings are held every other month throughout the year
January, March, May, July, Sept (?), & November
Meetings are 8pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month, at Borghi’s◦ Borghi’s Restaurant and Doug’s Barber Shop
