Our final mission group is heading to Guatemala in just a few days, and the school they will be work- ing with has requested help providing some items for the children. We work with a school and an orphanage which houses over 70 children who preparing for school just as our kids are here in Austin. Our friends are in need of the following: Gently used kids’ shoes School supplies, including: Glue sticks Foam sheets for projects Pens Compasses Erasers Colored pencils If you are able to provide any of these items, there will be a box in the Williman Cannon starting to- day, or you may contact Carlen Floyd, at 512-689- 1683 or [email protected]. Supporting our Guatemala EffortsWe have had a last-min-ute request from ourfriends in Guatemala!Our final mission group isheading to Guatemala injust a few days, and theschool they will be work-ing with has requestedhelp providing someitems for the children.

Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) ishosting Biblical Readiness Training atShepherd of the Hills. This foundationaltraining class spiritually preparesvolunteers to help those in need in timesof disaster. You will learn to apply 7 keyprovisions that strengthen any follower ofChrist in the face of crisis.

This is a great opportunity to learn bestpractices to support others in need or toprepare spiritually for times of crisis inour own homes and communities.
