PRISMA 2.0For the 2013 season DMT’s top of the line PRISMA shoe has been updated with the addition of an eye catching Black/Flou color way. The upper is comprised of an extremely light microfiber combined with strategically placed panels of mesh that provide ample ventilation, slip-lasted construction is utilized to secure the upper to the sole. This type of construction yields a lightweight shoe without requiring a mid-sole board and allows the upper to wrap around your foot providing a sock-like fit without irritating seams. The anatomic external heel counter securely but gently holds the riders heel in place, and prevents any slippage. The completely new ATOP closure is very easy to operate and is exclusive to DMT in the cycling shoe industry. Turning the ATOP’s dial clockwise rewinds the wire and causes the shoe’s upper to envelop the riders foot. Providing a perfect fit as the tension of the wire remains consistent along the top of the entire shoe. To release the wire’s tension and remove the shoe a simple 45° turn counter clockwise unlocks the ATOP system. The PRISMA is available with the newly re-designed DMT CX Carbon fiber sole which now has a replaceable heel strike pad or the Speedplay® Approved sole. The new ASL insole offers amazing breathability, great arch support, and the ability to achieve a custom fit through its heat molding capabilities. With all these amazing new features DMT’s research and development continues to set the bar for performance in the world of cycling shoes.

functionality into a complete closure system that can be precisely

dialed in, and easily operated.

The ATOP closure system is used exclusively in the cycling shoe sector by DMT. This type of closure, uses a rotor to rewind a wire, which allows for a perfect fit that envelops any foot shape. To release the ATOP closure system, just turn the rotor counter clockwise 45°. This will release the wires tension and allow the upper to be opened.

RADIAL 2.0The Radial features a lightweight resistant upper constructed of microfiber with a mesh lining that is slip-lasted. This type of construction yields a lightweight shoe without requiring a mid-sole board and allows the upper to wrap around your foot providing a sock-like fit without irritating seams. The microfiber upper is extremely breathable and the re-designed mesh panels across the outside of the foot provide increased ventilation and perspiration management. A soft padded collar at the heel with additional clearance for the ankle offers freedom of movement without putting pressure on the sides of the foot. The anatomically designed padded external heel counter holds your foot securely preventing slipping of the heel in the shoe. A lightly padded tongue with additional padding around the edge ensures comfort. The closure is a three Velcro® strap system secured with stainless steel d-rings. The RADIAL will also be available with the newly redesigned DMT CX Carbon sole, which now features a replaceable heel strike pad or the Speedplay® Approved sole. Both soles feature a calibrated grid to make cleat adjustment quick and easy as well as a textured surface at the cleat interface to reduce the chance of the cleat slipping and negates the need for using sandpaper or other inserts for this purpose. The RADIAL will also come equipped with the all new heat moldable ASL insoles, providing the rider with customized arch support.

The design for the Top Gear MTB shoe has drawn inspiration from the Impact Road Shoe, a long running favorite of the DMT line. The upper is constructed utilizing a microfiber upper with soft mesh paneling and is equipped with light weight carbon soles appointied with a sturdy replacable polyurethane MTB shoe treads. The micro-ratchet fastening closure is simple, small and compact providing security and comfort throughout the whole ride. At each click of the closure system’s lever, the 2X Density strap closes 6mm and is easy to release with just a press of the red center button. The 2X-Density micro closure has been developed to guarantee maximum security and comfort at every level of performance.

DMT is excited to bring a new children’s shoe to the market. Providing comfortable equipment to begining riders is important, especially at an early age. A new set of “youth lasts” were created for this shoe ensuring a proper and comfortable fit. This also allows the Vision kid’s shoe to be constructed in the same manor and with all the advantages the adult line of DMT shoes enjoy. Equipped with 3 velcro closures that provide a classic fit that is easily adjustable on the bike. Velcro straps have proven to provide a safe closure system that is simple to actuate, making it ideal for young riders. This shoe is also equipped with DMT’s anti slip heel counter technology, and a drilled soft microfiber tongue for ventilation. The sole is equiped for look cleats, and is constructed from a light weight nylon.

A stylish new Podium shoe has been designed for the 2013 season. The low profile sneaker shape with traditional laces give the shoe a comfortable relaxed fit. Silicone DMT trademarks on the side along with contrast stitching add to its minimalistic style, and the durable canvas material used in the upper make sure they can last through wherever your journey takes you. The CX CARBON SOLE has improved upon its predecessor by adding a replaceable strike pad at the heel. It is still made from a 40 ton high modulus TORAY MR60 Carbon. The fibres are orientated at 0°, 45° and 90°, a total of 9 layers of this orientationhelps make the sole stiff and durable.

DMT-ASL THERMOFORMING insoles help alleviate torsion of the knee by providing support that prevents pressure on the plantar arch. The air flow system provides ventilation and comfort even at the highest temperatures.

The Speedplay® Approved sole from DMT provides a perfectly flat platform which is directly compatible with Speedplay® four-bolt pedal systems. This new sole eliminates the need for adapter plates required when mounting the pedals on shoes with conventional three-bolt soles. Wind tunnel tests have shown the combination of the Speedplay® pedals with DMT shoes employing Speedplay® Approved soles provides a 33 seconds per hour advantage over conventional shoes and pedals. Additional benefits include a lower stack height which positions the foot closer to the pedal axle and facilitates a more efficient transfer of power. The absence of adaptor plates also makes the shoe lighter.
