Other notices are possible – check in your forms file to be sure every form necessary is posted in the Poll
This rule does not apply to judges or clerks who are calling to qualify a voter.

What is a “Suspense” Voter? “Suspense” voters are indicated in red on the laptop screen This means their new Voter Registration card was returned by the Post Office for some reason ALL Suspense Voters must certify their address by completing the Statement of Residence card BEFORE voting
Voter completes this card BEFORE voting if current address does not match address listed on laptop
Use Purple form if a voter walks out of Poll before pressing the red “VOTE” button
To cancel a Ballot By Mail, the voter must complete Part A and surrender mail ballot
“I.D. Voters”• Registered by mail • Registered online
Must show a form of I.D. in addition to voter registration card 1st time only
Acceptable Forms of I.D.
1. Texas Driver’s license
2. Texas ID Card
3. Texas Election ID Certificate
4. US Citizenship containing a photo
5. US Passport
6. US Military ID card containing photo
7. Texas Concealed Handgun License
PROVISIONAL VOTERS
The provisional ballot is a safeguard to ensure that an
individual who asserts that he or she is registered and eligible to vote will not be prevented from casting a
ballot on election day.
This information must be posted near a special
area designated for completing a
provisional ballot.
Front of Envelope Containing Provisional Ballot
This must be filled out by voter.(Except what is in Red oval – Judge completes
these items on front.)
Back of Envelope for Provisional Ballot(Judge completes what is in Red oval.)
Provisional voters receive this notice
about how Provisional Votes
are handled.
This information should be available in each Provisional Ballot
packet.
Once ballot is sealed up, judge secures green envelope in Orange “Ballot Box” bag.
Complete this form, listing all Provisional Voters
Return with Orange “Ballot Bag”
Closing the Poll – 7 p.m. If all voters have voted, close door Print “closing tape” for all machines Pull flash cards, place with Master PEB Fold and store voting machines for pickup Collect all forms and place in proper envelopes or in Election KitMake sure you have logged off the laptop and packed the case up for transport back to the AnnexReturn to the Elections Office and check in your supplies inside the building on the Early Voting side.
