The Jaynes’ Gang announces INCENTIVE PAYMENT INCLUDED in purchase of any of the remaining Double Down teams BUT YOU CAN STILL DOUBLE DOWN. At our 2011 Mega Genetics sale we introduced the Double Down concept and explained it was a chance to earn some BIG BUCKS with some good odds, and we were right on by saying that. Mark Murray purchased a team for $11,000 in 2011 and collected around $70,000 in a 5 minute period when we bucked the Double Down bulls Memorial Day in 2012. Here is how the Double Down works. Each person that buys a team pays $2,000, which is NOW INCLUDED in the purchase price of $10,000 which buys you two 2014 futurity bulls and enters your two bulls in the team Double Down incentive.

Double Down will pay $20,000 to the winning team when the bulls are bucked at the Memorial Day 2013 Buck Day & BBQ at The Jaynes Gang ranch. Each owner will also be given the chance to DOUBLE DOWN and pay another $1,000. If they pay the additional $1,000, and win the event, they will recieve $30,000 instead of $20,000. That is just part of the incentive.... The Jaynes’ Gang makes it even better as they agree to sell the top 2 bulls with no commission after they buck, if the owner wishes to sell them. Mark did and his top bull sold for $40,000. There is not a bucking bull game with better odds than this one as you have several chances to make some BIG BUCKS with your investment.

Just like at a baseball game when you keep a score card we encourage you to follow each bull this weekend and guess his score. Attend our annual Judges Seminar with Justin Crawford on Saturday

morning and gain the knowledge you need to make you the best “arm chair” judge possible.

FIVECATEGORIES OF JUDGING1. BUCKThe height achieved with the front feet and shoulders as a bull begins each jump.

2. KICKThe extension and snap of the hind legs at the peak of each jump.

3. SPINThe revolutions a bull makes during the allotted bucking time.

4. INTENSITY The amount of effort or level of speed that a bull is using as he bucks.

5. DEGREE OF DIFFICULTYMoves that can enhance the score: drift or fade, belly rolls, directional change, moving forward in the spin or droping

SCORING SCALE FOR BUCK DAY1 POINTBull has absolutely no hope to have a future in the bucking bull industry.

2 POINTSBull does not have great hopes but deserves to be bucked again

2.25 POINTSBull is not a 2 or 3 but closer to being a 2 than a 3.

2.50 POINTS Bull is average. Certainly better than a 2 but not good enough to be called a 3.

The journey to the 2014 Million Dollar Bucking Bull Championship begins this weekend.

What could be more exciting than watching your bull buck for the first time? Some folks will be jubilant at the results of that first buck; others will bite their lips with a certain degree of frustration.The bottom line is that the majority of the bulls that buck here this weekend will continue to buck and continue to learn the skills needed

to make them a competitive bull. Some will be studs and some, unfortunately, will be duds but the vast majority will fall in the middle.In the weeks after Buck Day, Billy and The Jaynes Gang training staff will review videos and make the judgment of what the next step in

the journey will be.For a small number, Billy will deem that the bull has the conformation and ability at this stage in his growth to move on to the big money

events for yearling bulls…the $50,000 to win Lone Star Shootout and the $20,000 to win Gold Buckle, which takes place during the storied National Finals Rodeo in December. If your bull is not selected to immediately move on, please understand that a specific formula is initiated to evaluate your bull. We do not want to put your livestock in harms way by attempting to have him perform if he is not mature or coordinated enough.Once again, the odds say that your bull will be good enough to continue the journey, but many of the “average” bulls will be sent to an

approved feed lot operations to get the nutrition needed to give your bull the best chance to grow and mature. Hopefully, he will step it up and become “above average” when he returns at the end of the year. He will then start his intense training for his big year, 2015! At that point we will work hard to get your bull ready for next year’s Champion Tour Series, held at great events and locations, like the Academy Of Country music awards in Las Vegas. Remember, the ultimate goal is to get your bull ready for the Million Dollar Bucking Bull Championship. Keep in mind, some bulls peak earlier and some bulls peak later.
