    Delino DeShields enters his fth season in the Reds organization, his fourth as a manager at theprofessional level and his rst in Double-A. In 2010, he was the skipper at Rookie Billings, wherehe served as the hitting coach in 2009, and in 2011 and 2012 was the manager at Low-A Dayton.DeShields enjoyed a 13-year big league career with the Expos, Dodgers, Cardinals, Orioles andCubs. He was the rst-round draft pick for the Expos in 1987 and made his Major League debut withMontreal in 1990. That year he nished second in the National League Rookie of the Year voting.DeShields nished his big league career with a .268 batting average. His 463 career stolen basesrank him in MLBs top 50 all-time.

    Tom Brown enters his seventh season in the organization, his fourth as pitching coach at Double-A.He spent the 2007-09 seasons as the pitching coach for the Reds High-A team. Prior to joining theorganization, he served as pitching coach in Triple-A for Albuquerque (2006), Fresno (2005), Portland(2003-2044), Las Vegas (1999) and Oklahoma (1995-98). Brown began his professional coaching careerin the Baltimore Orioles organization as pitching coach for Double-A Hagerstown (1988-90) and for theGCL Orioles (1981). He was pitching coordinator in the Orioles minor league organization for 5 years and apitching coordinator in the Padres system for 4 years. During his playing days, Brown pitched in both theKansas City Royals and Seattle Mariners chains, appearing in 6 Major League games with Seattle in 1978.He attended Northeast Louisiana University, where in 1972 he led the nation with a 0.51 ERA. Tom and hiswife of 42 years, Sandy, reside in Venice, Florida.

    Dick Scho eld is in his rst season in the organization. He previously worked in the Angels minor leaguesystem as a roving in eld coordinator (2012) and hitting coach for High-A Inland Empire (2011). The formershortstop played 14 Major League seasons with the Angels, Mets, Blue Jays and Dodgers and led theAmerican League in elding percentage 4 times. Scho eld played on the Angels 1986 Western Divisionchampionship club, hitting an even .300 in that years ALCS against the Red Sox, and was a member ofTorontos 1993 World Series championship team. In Game 3 of that 86 ALCS, he belted a home run offOil Can Boyd. A native of Spring eld, Illinois, Scho eld was drafted by the Angels in the rst round (thirdoverall) of the 1981 draft. He resides in St. Louis with his wife and 4 children.
