However you will see the same faces sale day as you did in the past and our passion for producing Limousin cattle and customer service remains the same.We would like to take this time to thank Martin and Donna for the last 6 years of the lease agreement. " ese years were invaluable in helping us strengthen our 40 purebred females. During these years the cow herd remained under our management. Each fall Bohrsons took the bull calves and developed them for the sale and the females were selected between both parties. On average there were 8 bulls from our program in the Annual Bull Sale. You will $ nd many of the dams to our bulls carry the Anchor B pre$ x. " ese females were raised in our program, excluding the dam of UZX 47Z. Homo Polled Test Inconclusive. You got to admire this bull for how deep ribbed and deep flanked he is, yet still possesses a nice muscle pattern. He is easy to work with and is very hairy. Iron Clad will work in the heifer pen and add maternal attributes. We sold a full sister to Iron Clads 2 year old dam in the Western Select to Combest Limousin. A younger bull that is sound structured, loose hided and hairy. A full sister sold in the Western Select sale this past December to Ber Col Limousin. Cadmium comes from our influential cow family, the Foxtrots. A great calving ease pros-pect with Tibon and Paladin in the pedigree!

Explanation of EPD Terms:EPD: Expected Progeny Differences (EPD’s) are used to compare

the genetic merit of animals in various traits. An EPD predicts the difference in performance of future offspring of a parent, as compared to progeny from other parents.

1. BWT: This value predicts the difference in average birthweight of a bull’s calves compared to the breed average (expressed in lbs.).

2. WWT: Indicates the ability of a sire’s calves to grow from birth to weaning (expressed in lbs.).

3. YWT: Growth from birth to yearling (expressed in lbs.).

4. Milk: A sire’s milk EPD is expressed as the additional pounds of weaning weight of calves (grand progeny of sire) from daughters, due to genes for milk passed on from a sire to his daughters.

5. SC: Scrotal circumference has been found to be a good indicator of age at puberty and is a highly heritable trait. EPD’s for scrotal circumference are expressed in centimeters (cm) with higher values indicating genes for larger yearling scrotal circumferences of sons and early puberty of daughters.

6. DOC: A temperament score with higher numbers indicating a more docile attitude.
