• The Members approved release of the “OWS-9 Summary ER” (OGC 13-011) as a public OGC Engineering Report.– Pending final edits and review by OGC staff– Motion: Technical Committee Chair– Second: – There was no objection to unanimous consent

• Abstract: This report summarizes the results of OGC Web Services Initiative, Phase 9 (OWS-9). The ten OWS-9 sponsors from the US, Canada and Europe who shared the costs and contributed the requirements have missions ranging from environmental management and civil government mapping to maintaining common operating pictures in disaster zones and battlefields. Working on specific interoperability problems detailed in the sponsors' use cases and scenarios, the 45 industry participants in OWS-9 have delivered extraordinary value in the following areas: Aviation, Service and Security Interoperability, Innovations, Cross-Community Interoperability, Compliance Testing.

CityGML SWG Informative Motion

The CityGML SWG resolves to focus its efforts on the development of CityGML 3.0 in favour of version 2.x.

Additions to the CityGML 2.0 specification will be implemented through the ADE mechanism or corrigenda on version 2.0 or through the 3DIM registry sub working group.

Note: The aim is to focus the resources on the development of CityGML 3.0.

• Abstract• This document focuses on one basic issue: the provision of observations in an OGC

SOS. This includes the definition of a lightweight profile of the OGC Sensor Observation Service (SOS), an analysis of and contribution to the specification of the SOS 2.0 as well as an approach how the data used within Earth observation (EO) applications can be integrated more easily into SOS instances. It focuses on sensor data (observations) originating mainly from in-situ or mobile sensors providing measurements that may be mapped to a tabular format.

• One of the privileges of PC Membership is the election of the OGC Board of Directors.

• The OGC Board discusses and agrees on a slate of nominations for new members of the Board.

• This slate is then presented to the Planning Committee. The PC discusses the slate of the nominees.

• A formal vote ensures. Votes can be sent to the OGC via email, fax, or letter.

• PC Members can abstain from the vote
