New technical / commercial cooperation agreements with very well established Companies, are widening Floatex business opportunities.Just renewed cooperation agreement with Tideland Signal Corporation was accomplished with a contract signed with Tideland U.K. for the production of over 300 A. to N. buoys fully in accordance with IALA specifications.In close cooperation with the Company Valpolimeri srl Italy, a complete new line of PU
elastomers and resilient products have been developed and successfully utilized in buoys and buoyancy elements deployed in over 4500 meters water depth.Thanks to Nortekmed France and the positive results of the special manufactured “UFO” shaped deepwater floating modules, Floatex is developing new lines of products to be utilized for water / weather monitoring purposes.The latest agreement signed with Kiasma srl-Italy will widen Floatex line of dredging products opening new market opportunities.

GMPHOM 2009Established in 1976, Floatex very first manufactured product was a special designed float for OS&D oil hoses. Floats were manufactured by rotomoulded and outer rigid shell duly filled with high density PU foam to grant unsinkability and resistance up to 80 meters water depth. Of course during the past years the original design of the floats has been updated and nowadays Floatex has the capacity to offer four different float designs to suit all the
different demanding customer project expectation. All Floatex deep water floats for oil hoses, are of course manufactured strictly in accordance to GMPHOM 2009 guidelines and specifications.In addition to the different models and shapes of OS&D oil hose floats, Floatex offers as well a special developed heavy duty line of engineered material to be utilized in extreme locations and sites, emphasizing mechanical and very long elastic capacities.

Quite a few of those monit-buoys / articulated beacons have been installed close
to aquaculture fish farms to continuously monitor the quality of the water as well as weather conditions to better serve the timing of fish feeding, reducing to the minimum accident risks and general costs.
