An exciting reading program for Teens!

How do students participate?

Note: The Florida Teens Read program is a voluntary reading program. The content of some of the titles on the Florida Teens Read list deal with issues that are for a mature audience. As readers, teens have a choice to read the more mature titles or to close the books. These titles will have Mature Reader labels placed on the book covers.

• Students read from a list of 15 books that are nominated by media specialists, teacher, and teens from across the state.

• Students read at least 3 of the books from the list.

• In the Spring, students votes for their favorite books.
