Ater having been completely redesigned last year, we just reviewed the 2012

model improving durability and adding a perect fne tuning or each size. From 3,3

to 5,7 you will always fnd the ultra light handling and extreme control the Manic is

known or. It is sot, balanced and neutral on waves. It reacts immediately and thepressure can turned directly to on or o. Nevertheless, it will bring you through the

white-water zone without any problem. The 2012er design oers even more pure

Manic eeling than ever! It will be dicult to nd a better all rounder or waves or

stormy days! In big waves the incredible handling makes the Manic a class o its

own or both light and heavy riders!

The new panel layout optimally supports the design characteristics with the radial cut that evenlyspreads the orces generated at tack and clew into the sail body.We redesigned and properly protected the bottom o the sail window, we increased the width o theleechpanel. The result is a light and convincing sail, even more durable than beore. The Dacron lupanel was maintained or a resilient and sot eel. The shape is kept in the ront o the sail so you willnever loose control. The prole which is locked low in the sail combined with the perect leech twistmake the Manic smooth and easy even in the biggest waves and most extreme conditions.

Xply throughout the sail in addition to the already complex evolutions o the Manic makes it extremelydurable. The new panel layout o Gaastra supports once again the radical changes, such as the muchshorter lu by absorbing the orces on the sail better and evenly spread them on the whole sail. Bysmall changes in the outline, we voted the riding experience within the range even better. In addition,we have the bottom o the window sail again revised and strengthened the Leach. The result is aversatile and lightweight sail with even longer durability. We maintain the Dacron Lu Pannel or aresilient and soter eel. Concurrently is the pressure point always ar orward in the sail so you willnever lose control. The low prole with the perect twist in the leech make the sail extremly easy andsmooth to ride!

The heavy punch o the Poisons is still the best response to gustyonshore conditions. The deep profle, that is located slightly moreto the back ensures that the 2012 Poison is still the most powerulsail in our wave range. The profle alignment is optimized orthe new Radial Panel Layout. Combining this with the double x-ply lu panel increased the wind range signifcant. Improvedreinorcements and a new construction in the lower sail bodymakes the Poison much tougher than its predecessor. The 2011 IQ defned the concept o new school wave sailing romscratch. His successor has even more control and reedom o movement on the wave. That makes you speechless? RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENTPeter: “With Thomas and Alex, we have two very extreme surers in our team. Their input has helpedus a lot to make the new IQ slightly more radical. Those two ask or the 3.3 in the range too.” The rened leech and just slightly bigger head roach provides a more controlled twist in strong wind.The new Radial Panel Layout provides optimal distribution o orce in extreme situations. A completelynew 3.3 is added to the range, which now only goes to 5.7 square meters as the brand new Pure coversthese the reestyle sizes. The lower part o the sail window was redesigned and is now absolutely“bullet proo”. The IQ has our battens rom 3.3 to 5.0, and the sizes 5.3 and 5.7 comes with 5 battensor more stability. All over the range was tuned and rened again completely.
