General Information • All calves were weaned August 1, 2012. Pictures on our website after September 6. • All calves have had a series of 3 vacines: Presponse HM (pasteurella multocida), Bovi-Shield Gold 5 (BVD, Pi-3 RSV), Vision 7 Somnus with SPUR, they have been poured at different times during the summer with CyLence and in the fall with Ivomectrin. Heifers of age are all calfhood vaccinated. • All cattle have the most recent available EPDS. Our vet will issue your health papers. • Repeat Jr. customers will receive a 5% discount on their 2012 purchase. • Bulls sold require a 25% downpayment and will be grown and wintered, semen checked and delivered to you in the spring on your delivery date prior to June 1, 2013.

Bidding Process • All cattle will have a base price placed on them September 21, bids will be accepted at any time but no cattle will be sold prior to 2:00 PM, September 29. Please call or email for a base bid sheet. The lst person to bid claims the animal at the base price and the bidding continues from there. Bid increments on the Heifers, Bulls or bred heifers must be at $100 more than the last bid. Bid increments on the steer calves must be $50 higher than the last bid. • Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 29. We will make every effort to finalize the sale as close after 2:00 PM as possible. Please place your bids early so if you get outbid you have a chance to place a bid on another lot if you choose. If you have submitted a bid by closing time, and you don’t get that calf, you will have the opportunity to up your bid or bid on a different one that has not been sold. • All bidders will be issued sale numbers and names will be kept confidential during the bidding process. Phone bids are welcome anytime prior to the sale. Guarantee • All steers are sold with no implied guarantee. All heifers, bulls and bred females are sold guaranteed to be breeders. Bulls will be semen checked prior to your spring 2013 delivery date.

Payment • 2012 Bull buyers: Sale day 25% of purchase price will hold your bull and we will feed and manage them until June 1, 2013 with no extra cost to you when the balance is due. • Heifers, steers and cows will be the total purchase price with immediate possession. All registration papers are available for viewing and will be transferred to the new owner in a timely manner. We are always honored when our customers are successful with cattle they purchase from VorthmannLimousin. Recently at the 2012 Westfair, several local 4-Hers did extremely well with steers purchased

in last year's sale. Out of 108 steers in the carcass contest, Derek Ravlin tied for second with a retailvalue per day on feed of $5.084. Emerald Nelson placed fifth. Emily Nelson placed eleventh.
