• CSUSB will continue to declare campus-wide impaction for transfer students for 2013-2014.

• Community Colleges located within CSUSB’s defined local admission area will be admitted based on the minimum standard CSU admission requirements.

• Students are required to complete the Golden 4 at the end of spring 2013 for fall 2013 admissions.

• Golden 4 must be satisfied with a grade of “C” or better (no “C-” is accepted).

• Submit application during application priority filing period and meet all transcript, confirmation deposit of $100 and document deadlines.

• Students should check their campus e-mail account and MyCoyote account regularly for important information from CSUSB.

• Attend appointment dates at local community colleges, CSUSB Presentations, Application and Financial Aid Workshops or CSUSB Open House event on Oct. 27, 2012 for information and assistance.

• Remember, when a student is first admitted, it's on a provisional or conditional basis. Their final transcript must confirm that they met all admission requirements.

• Applicants who are denied admission may appeal the decision in writing to the Director of Admissions no later than 15 days after applicants have been notified. Appeals will be reviewed and answered within 15 business days after the request for the appeal has been received by the Admissions Office.

• The B.S.N. program is impacted and only admits new students in Fall and Winter quarters. Nursing website: http://nursing.csusb.edu

• Nursing accepts 80 B.S.N. students each year (supplemental application required).

• Deadlines for Nursing Admission applications are: – Fall quarter : January 1st – March 1st.– Winter quarter: September 1st- October 1st.

• Pre-Nursing advising session is mandatory (with the schedule available on the nursing website).

• Palm Desert Campus accepts 20 B.S.N. students every Fall term.

• The B.A.S.W. program admits new students only in Fall quarter (supplemental application required).

• Social Work accepts 50 B.A.S.W. students each Fall.

• Deadline to apply for Fall is the end of March.

• Application packet is available to download at http://socialwork.csusb.edu.

• B.A.S.W. Admission Information Sessions available (not required) and students can e-mail questions to social work advisors.

• The Kinesiology concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy (PPT) is impacted.

• Applications for Fall will begin on March 1st - May 1st of each academic year.

• Kinesiology PPT students can start any academic quarter and should declare their major as Kinesiology “undeclared” concentration.

• Students must earn a 3.2 GPA in all college/university coursework and all prerequisites.

• Criminal Justice is the newest impacted major.• Students should declare Pre-criminal justice as

their major. • Prerequisites must be completed with grades

“C” or better. • Upon successful completion of requirements,

• All transfer applicants completing an ADT degree will follow the same admission procedures as regular transfer applicants.

• Admissions will verify ADT degrees posted to final transcripts.

• ADT students must apply to similar majors in order to receive the benefits of ADT.

• ADT students should meet with their major/department to review degree requirements to indicate their remaining 90 quarter units needed for graduation.

• All new transfer students will attend SOAR, mandatory student orientation, advising and registration.

• 95% of Transfer Students Commute, 5% live on-campus
