Areas of Concern for 2013:1) Priority of IP species (e.g. not all category B IPs created equal).
Creation of a standard operating procedure for each IP species (e.g. when to retire an IP site, preferable IP management strategies, etc.).
2) Communication between MoTI maintenance contractors and the IPMA contractor in regards to mowing and brushing activities.
3) Hawkweed infestations down the Murray and OJ Main FSRs, within Monkman Provincial Park and along Highway 52.
4) Scentless chamomile along highway and FSR right-of-ways.5) Dalmatian toadflax at East Pine Hill and the misidentification of
toadflax species by previous surveyors.6) Emergence of common tansy along Highway 52 east of Tumbler Ridge
and down the Murray FSR.7) The Peace River Hill gravel pit spotted knapweed infestation.8) Elevator Road marsh plume thistle in Pouce Coupe.
