this Step-By-Step in a virtual lab$ it is recommended to download

&. !heck to ensure the Domain unctional 0evel is currently setup

to at least %indows &''+ mode. 1his is the lowest required

Domain unctional 0evel that would allow a %indows Server&'(& Domain !ontroller installation. %indows 21 3 &''' Domain

!ontrollers are not supported via this process.

(. /ia the A&tive Dire&tory 'sers and Comp$ters console$

select the domain via the right mouse button on it.

server will choose the best location for AD database replication if

Adprep is not detected$ it will automatically be completed on

your behalf.

the installation.

new %indows Server &'(& Domain !ontroller setup is completed.
