What's more exciting than finding a shady parking spot atH-E-B in August? Singing with the choir for SHPC's annualChristmas Cantata! This year we'll "Celebrate the Season" with Joel Raney's cantata ofthe same name. Contemporary and upbeat, this superb cantata

celebrates the excitement, joy and true meaning of the Christmas season.Raney retells the Christmas story through a unique partnering of creative, origi-nal songs with traditional carols. Most of the originals incorporate strains fromtraditional carols, weaving a tapestry with just enough familiarity to warm ourhearts and with enough originality to surprise our ears and lift our spirits. Thestyles he uses range from classical, to jazz and everything in between.

Both Brodie and William Cannon campuses are invited to participate as we'll beoffering the cantata at both campuses in December. Rehearsals are on Thurs-day nights—come join in! Contact our choir director, Zack Uzzle( [email protected] ), for more details.
