When there is this much risk involved with every purchase, we are confi-dent you will be happy you bought bulls at McMurphy Farms. Inputs and calf prices are at all-time highs and this is an opportunity to capitalize on your genetics by purchasing ours. We have also been very grateful to enjoy success with our bulls on a national platform in 2011 and 2012. The most notable is our pen of three championship win at the Super Bowl of Cattle Shows in Denver last January and a division champion at the Fort Worth Stock Show. This is a great honor for anyone and it is especially meaningful as these bulls were out of sires from our own bull battery and there are several more out of our soon-to-be famous MF New Logic. If you are interested in these genetics you can seethem, along with the rest of our herd sires at the farm and if your operation uses A.I. you can also purchase semen on any of our sires. There is also opportunity to buy in on a great young sire “MF Deuces Wild” and have use of him this spring or opt to allow McMurphy Farms to haul him to the National Show at Denver in 2013. If you are interested in being a part of something great don’t hesitate to pull the trigger.

As a McMurphy Farms bull buyer, we will help market yourRed Angus heifers and be available to assist you with your management decisions regarding breeding programs, nutrition and marketing. As a Red Angus bull buyer you will be able to place your calves in the Red Angus feeder calf certification program (FCCP) that will age and source verify your cattle in order to receive premiums on sale day. This program is free with the exception of the ear tag($0.99/tag), but you will probably tag your calves anyway so the cost would merely be the paperwork. This tag will allow you to place your calves in special feeder calf sales or even allow you to place them on feed at feedlots that specialize in the marketing of these cattle. The added value for source and aged calves sold at the sale barn is currently be-tween $6 to $10 per head and closer to $35 per head on a carcass basis if ownership is retained.

New Logic is an OSF bull out of an ET brother to the 2002 Reserve National Champion bull WCC New Design and a genetically powerful King John cow.He stamps his progeny with big, square hips and good feet and legs, but needs to be bred to cows with plenty of depth of rib. It is hard to find Red Angus with these features and combine it with phenom-enal production traits. His calves will perform with any other sire as he ranks in the top 1% for weaning and the top 2% for yearling.
