The National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show is an annual trade show sponsored, produced and managed by the National Restaurant Association. Founded in 1919, the National Restaurant Association is the leading business association for the restaurant industry, which comprises 945,000 restaurant and foodservice outlets and a workforce of nearly 13 million employees. Together with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, the Association works to lead America’s restaurant industry into a new era of prosperity, prominence, and participation, enhancing the quality of life for all we serve.

NRA Show 2012 demonstrated significant growth in attendance and exhibition square footage sold, continuing a two-year trend. A sold-out Show floor resulted in more than 540,000 square feet of exhibition space from more than 1,900 exhibitors across the entire foodservice, hospitality and restaurant industry. This year’s Show also attracted 175 international exhibitors from 27 countries.

On the attendee side, NRA Show 2012 swelled 6%, including an 8% increase in the Restaurant/Foodservice category, 6% increase in the Dealer/Distributor category, a 21% increase in Retail, and a 7% increase in the Press category.

Beyond the growth in exhibition space and attendance, NRA Show 2012 also boasted an amazing lineup of internationally renown celebrity chefs, presented more than 70 education sessions, and offered several high-profile evening events including Destination: Celebration featuring the Operator Innovations Awards.

22. Attendee List Rental: The attendee list is available for rental to 2012 exhibitors only through the National Restaurant Association Website www.restaurant.org/show until September 1, 2012. The information available can include name, title, company, address, phone, fax and demographics.

23. Admission restrictions: Admission is restricted to persons involved with the foodservice and lodging industries.

24. Membership/other restrictions: You do not have to be a National Restaurant Association Member to attend. No one under the age of 16 is allowed on the exhibit floor. Proof of age and relationship to the industry is required. No strollers, baby carriages or baby packs are allowed. No exceptions. Proper business attire is required.

26. Complimentary exhibitor badges: Complimentary exhibitor badges are allocated based on the total square footage of exhibit space contracted to the exhibiting company. Every exhibitor receives at least five (5) complimentary badges. For each additional 100 sq. ft. of booth space or up to 100 sq. ft., an additional three (3) badges are added.
