Officer.

In 2004, Fad’l founded Maestro Capital Sdn

Bhd, providing corporate finance advisory

services primarily in the areas of M&A and

fund raising.

Fad’l is an independent non-Executive

Director of Scomi Engineering Berhad and

Radicare (M) Sdn Bhd; and an

Independent Investment Committee

member of CIMB-Principal Asset

Mr Wilson Lam

Wilson started his tax advisory career with

KPMG and Deloitte in Hong Kong. He has

also worked as an in-house regional tax

manager for an insurance company,

overseeing its tax issues in Asia Pacific. With

over 10 years experience, Wilson has

advised international clients on taxation

and related issues in connection with their

business ventures in Hong Kong, China, and

other Asia Pacific countries as well as cross-

border transactions. His portfolio includes

clients from various industries such as

airlines, insurance, trading, manufacturing,

technology and utilities companies.

Mr Kenneth Lim

Kenneth has 36 years of tax experience and

was the former Head of Tax for a big 4

practice in Malaysia. He has had an

impressive career in Malaysia and was

ranked by the International Tax Review (ITR)

as the two top consultants in Malaysia in

2007. His experience is extremely wide and

varied, including heading numerous tax

assignments for MNCs as well as for

statutory and state bodies. He advises

clients from a diversified range of industries

and has spearheaded studies on tax

incentives, corporate restructuring and

planning, and tax function performances.

He is an advisor to various trade

organizations and sits on tax committees of

local accounting and taxation bodies.

Mr William Chua

Regional Tax Leader, Boardroom Limited

William has 30 years of tax experience,

where majority was spent working as an

international tax partner in one of the big 4

global accounting firms. He has advised on

the tax aspects of the restructuring of

public-listed companies and MNCs, and has

considerable experience in providing

advice on the restructuring of group

companies in multi cross-border situations.

His area of expertise ranges from

withholding tax, shipping, capital gains tax,

to other international tax issues, including

indirect taxes such as GST and stamp duty.

Mr Clements Joseph

Clements has over 20 years of tax

experience in a big 4 practice in

Malaysia. His experience ranges from tax

planning and structuring, tax audits and

investigations, tax incentives applications,

tax appeals, corporate and personal tax

planning, and handling of tax compliance

matters of diverse corporations which

includes Government-linked companies,

MNCs, PLCs and concessionaires.

at live radio talk shows on budget day

proposals, and has also spoken at various

Ms Samantha Tai Yit Chan

Samantha has more than 19 years of

experience in corporate secretarial work.

Listed as one of the top 20 company

secretaries by MAICSA in 2004, she has

extensive experience in corporate

secretarial requirements and provides

advisory including due diligence reviews for

corporate restructuring and related

services such as IPOs, liquidation, and

preparation of circulars for submission to

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa

Securities”).

Samantha is a Fellow member of MAICSA,

and sits on the Strategy Advisory

Committee of MAICSA, as well as the

Working Group on MAICSA Governance

Mr Kim Teo Poh Jin

Kim, appointed to the Board of Boardroom

Limited in August 2009, is responsible for the

overall management and strategic

direction of the company.

Prior to Boardroom, Kim was the Regional

Head of Retail Equities at CIMB-GK

Securities, Singapore. He was formerly the

Chief Executive Officer of AIB Govett Asia

Ltd and First State Investments (Singapore).

Kim is currently the Chairman of the

Investment Committee of CIMB Principal

Asset Management Berhad and CIMB

Wealth Advisors Berhad. He is the Finance

Chairman of the National Crime Prevention Council.

Y. Bhg Dato OK Lee (Dato Lee Ow Kim)

FMM Council Member

Y. Bhg Dato Lee is a professional

accountant and is presently the part-time

Senior Consultant/ Company Secretary of

the Toray Group of Companies. Prior to this

role, he held the position of Executive

Director/Company Secretary with the group

for 22 years.

Dato Lee has served on many boards and

councils, such as the Penang HR

Development Council, CIMA Malaysia

Division, and Federation of Malaysian

Manufacturers (FMM). He is currently the

Chairman of FMM’s ICT & Multimedia

Committee, and GST task force, and sits on

the Finance, Building, Presidential, and

Strategic Policy Committees as well.

Dato Lee is presently the industrial advisory

panel member of Wawasan Open

University, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.

Y. Bhg Datuk Ahmad Zaki was appointed to

the Board of MRCB in 2005. He started his

career with the Securities Commission in

1994, and was with Booz, Allen & Hamilton

as a Senior Consultant for about 2 years

before moving to the public sector in 2000.

He was the Special Officer to Tun Abdullah

Badawi and Head of Policy Unit, Prime

Minister’s Office from 2003 till 2009.

Datuk Ahmad Zaki is also a member of the

Economic Bureau of UMNO Malaysia.

Mr Raymond Tang

Chief Investment Officer

CIMB -Principal Asset Management Berhad

Raymond has over 20 years of experience in the asset management business and has won numerous awards from Lippers and Micropal S&P. Currently, he is the Chairman of Malaysian Association of Asset Managers (MAAM) and a Chairman of FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Advisory Committee .
