Thank you for your continued commitment to growing strong political action committees. Your

commitment to the Action Committee for Rural Electrification and Friends of Rural Electrification has

made this our most successful year ever. Your financial investment ensures that we can support

legislators who are informed and concerned about electric cooperative issues. You and the other folks

listed in the enclosed Honor Roll are playing a significant role in making sure the interests of cooperative

members are well represented. As you read through the Honor Roll, you will see a number of new

members as well as members who have exceeded their contributions from last year. When you see

your fellow Honor Roll members, please take a moment to thank them for their commitment to the

cooperative way.

There’s a lot at stake for the Iowans we serve because Iowa’s energy future is uncertain. Now, more

than ever, the actions our legislators take in developing new energy policy will have lasting effects.

With the 2010 election behind us, we can proudly say that we continued to supported candidates who

are committed to developing an understanding of our issues and listening to our concerns. But, with

the 2012 election ahead of us, it will be time for us to again step up and support those who have

supported us.

As we chart Iowa’s energy future, your continued commitment to ACRE FORE is vital in keeping our

issues at the forefront of the debate, and in helping legislators get reelected who understand our

positions and support the cooperative business model.
