as a bronze in the men's relay. - The six women on this team have competed in a total of 89 World Cups. They have won a combined 11

individual gold medals, 12 silver and 10 bronze. - Jessica Gregg has competed in the most World Cups at 19, while Marianne St. Gelais won the most medals at 15 –

nine gold, three silver and three bronze. - The six men on this team have competed in a total of 122 World Cups. They have won a combined individual 28 gold

medals, 28 silver and 34 bronze. - Charles Hamelin has competed in the most World Cups at 42, and won the most medals at 51 – 18 gold, 14 silver and

- Michael Gilday, Charles Hamelin, François Hamelin and Oliver Jean set the world and Canadian relay record of 6:30.958 at World Cup #1 on Oct. 19 at the Olympic Oval in Calgary. The foursome broke the Canadian record on Sept. 16 at the Olympic Oval during the fall World Cup selections on Sept. 16 with a time of 6:32.909.

- Charles Hamelin set the Canadian 500 m record of 40.125 seconds in the final of the second 500-metre race at the fall World Cup selections on Sept. 16 at the Olympic Oval in Calgary.

- Olivier Jean set the Canadian 1000 m record of 1:21.815 in the final of the first 1,000-metre race at the fall World Cup selections on Sept. 15 at the Olympic Oval in Calgary.

- The World Cup Podium Tracker by Intact Insurance for the 2012-13 season stands at $5,000 (4 silver; 1 bronze). Intact Insurance will award $1,000 in cash and prizes to a local speed skating club with each individual medal win. The last two seasons, Intact Insurance awarded more than $50,000 in cash and prizes.
