Vision

•  2012年11月XX日の秋季大会で、  District76が特別ゲストにSpeaker  of  the  Year  Awardとして “Communica*on  and  Leadership  Award”を芸能界、スポーツ界、ビジネス界から先行した著名人に授与する。  

•  表彰前、District  76は記者会見を行う。

C&L awardの意義

•  リーダーシップスキル養成を通して、コミュニケーション技術の向上を図り社会に貢献するトーストマスターズが各界の優れたリーダー、スピーカーを表彰することで、トーストマスターズを広く世間に認知させる。  

•  Giving  this  award  is  one  of  the  most  effecNve  ways  to  gain  publicity.  The  CommunicaNon  and  Leadership  Award  is  presented  by  the  district  to  a  person  in  the  community  who  is  an  outstanding  communicator  or  leader.    

•  Honor  a  media  person,  state  or  local  poliNcian  or  business  person  with  this  beauNful  contemporary  curved  and  beveled  plaque  which  includes  an  engraving  plate  for  customizaNon.

•  Nothing  more  specific  then  shining  examples  of  leadership  and/or  communicaNon.  

• We  look  for  local  non-­‐Toastmasters  who  have  excelled  in  either  leadership  and/or  communicaNon.    It  is  strictly  a  Top  3  decision.    We  look  for  advice  but  not  neccesarily  nominaNons.

•  リーダーシップおよびコミュニケーションにおいて輝かしい例という以外にとくに選考基準はありません。  

•  リーダーシップとコミュニケーションにおいて素晴らしい実績を上げた非トーストマスターズ会員を探します。選考はTop3が行います。アドバイスは求めますが、推薦は受けません。

D72(ニュージーランド）の例

授与のタイミング 5月のDistrict  ConvenNon。受賞者には基調講演をしていただきます。

記者会見 PROと地元のTMCが主催します。（地元とはDistrict  ConvenNon開催地）

D72(ニュージーランド）の選考基準

•  "From  our  procedures  manual:  1.  1.This  award  shall  be  presented  to  a  person  who  makes  an  

outstanding  contribuNon  to  New  Zealand  in  the  field  of  communicaNon  and  leadership  and  who  is  able  to  present  a  feature  address  at  the  May  District  72  ConvenNon.  The  award  shall  be  presented  annually  if  a  suitable  recipient  is  available.  

2.  2.  The  CommunicaNon  and  Leadership  Award  shall  be  under  the  direcNon  of  the  Immediate  Past  District  Governor  who  shall  report  nominaNons  to  the  November  District  AdministraNon/ExecuNve  Commioee  who  shall  be  responsible  for  the  selecNon  of  the  recipient.  

3.  3  Toastmasters  of  District  72  are  encouraged  to  make  suggesNons  to  the  Immediate  Past  District  Governor  by  31  October  preceding  the  November  District  AdministraNon/ExecuNve  meeNng.  

4.  4  All  charges  (transport/accommodaNon/meals  etc.)  for  the  recogniNon  of  this  award  shall  be  the  responsibility  of  District  72,  and  shall  also  include,  if  required,  a  spouse  or  partner.  

•  Criteria  also  involves  how  well  they  match  the  values  of  Toastmasters  in  the  promoNon  and  demonstraNon  of  good  leadership  and  communicaNon  skills.

私たちのマニュアルによると  1.本賞は、コミュニケーションとリーダーシップの分野におい

てニュージーランド社会に卓越した貢献を行い、かつ5月のDistrict72大会で受賞スピーチをしてくださる個人に授与するものである。本賞は、授与に値する人がいたときのみ年に一度授与する。  

2.  CommunicaNon  and  Leadership  Awardは、前期ディストリクトガバナーが候補者を複数先行し11月のECMに報告し、ECMが最終的に先行する。  

3.  District  72のトーストマスターが、11月のECMに先立つ10月31日まで前期ディストリクトガバナーに受賞者を提案することを奨励される。  

4.  受賞者にかかる交通費、宿泊費、食事代などの経費はDistrict72が負担する。受賞者の配偶者またパートナーの経費も同様である。  

•  選考基準には、優れたリーダーシップとコミュニケーションの普及というトーストマスターズの価値とどれだけ合致しているかも含まれる。
