The African Drum and Dance Troupe led by Jessie Thrower.For the 2nd, year the audience was entertained by one of Charleston’s Premier Drum and Dance Troupes led by Jessie. Not only did they Drum and Danced for the audience but they invited them to come to the stage and be a part of the Dance troupe as well.... PURE EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!

Attire: Purple V-Neck Dress with a mulit-color jacket. Jacket is used as a overlay connected to the dress 3rd Model: Deepali Tucker

Attire:Long Black & White Ball Dress with crop jacket; the back of the dress has layered ruffles.

The Designer: Dana Thumbtzen Dana was born in Charleston, SC, and attended Bauder Fashion College and received her Associate Degree. She later attended ALU where she received her Bachelor Degree. She has owned a home-base sewing business for 8 years. Dana’s personal style is mixing vintage and present together. Anything in the 50’s or 60’s classic seems to be any era that can be diversed.

As we prepared for our April 2011 Fashion Show, we held a Fashion Shoot of our Models. This one was held at the Beautiful Water Front Part in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We use this opportunity to photograph our models with the Designers Clothes. These photos will be part of the fashion show backdrop.

This year we added a new event to the Seminar, the Stylist competitions.

“Stylist” is a person who puts fashion styles to-gether for clients who are too busy to shop. We wanted to feature some of the local Stylists and have them compete for prizes. This event was held at the Sterett Hall, Old Naval Base, North Charleston, SC
