The all new HV-LED series architectural downlight features the most versatile LED components found in the Lighting industry today. It features a proprietary plug and play module that can be interchanged to different beam distributions ( narrow, Medium, and Wide) and color temperatures (3000K, 3500K and 4100K). Our exclusive module is designed to fit into existing architectural housings, making it a reliable solution for retrofitting projects. CooleD Thermal Management System Through extensive research and development, HV-LED architectural downlights have cooLED technology that allows the smooth flow of air to circulate through the fins of the module, causing the heat to be transferred to the surrounding environment and away from the LED engine. cooLED technology allows the life of the LED Engine to reach its published life of 50,000 hrs, therefore giving you a peace of mind. optics and PerformanceHV-LED proprietary optilux technology consists of a dual reflector design that combines unmatched performance with visual comfort. Since the LED Light source is regressed to the highest point of the trim, visual cut-off is eliminated and glare is dramatically reduced. The operating system consumes a minimal 21 watts and puts our more than 970 usable lumens with our 3000K CCT LED engine and 1150 usable lumens using our 4100K CCT LED engine. The HV-LED features a simple Dim driver that has capabilities of dimming down to 15% with a 0-10 volt dimmer.
1. oPTiCS - MAXILUME LED Optilux technology combines unmatched performance with visual comfort. Spun 0.05 thick reflector has been designed to gather the light scattered by the LED chip and shape it into functional beams that minimize brightness and glare, while eliminating lamp image. Proprietary dual level upper and lower reflector design allows for two different light distributions (Flood Spot), design capabilities are endless and unrestricted. Elite engineered superior quality, light engine; consuming less 21 watts and producing 1121 lumens.
2. PerForMAnCe - Operating system consumes only 21 watts of power and puts out 1150 usable lumens with a 41000K color temperature while our 3000K LED chip produces more than 970 lumens. All MAXILUME LED luminaries are rated at 85+ CRI and 3,000 degrees Kelvin. Our stringent chip specifications require only those Chips that produce no ultra violet and virtually no infrared. All LED luminaries are rated and tested to LM-79 and LM-80 standards by an independent laboratory.
3. THerMAl MAnAgeMenT SYSTeM - Using a proprietary cooLED Advanced Thermodynamic Design, Die-cast aluminum housing and heat management system are engineered for extremely long life and service period. Heat sink is attached to top of housing. The LED light engine is attached to the die-cast heat sink and is easily replaceable and upgradeable. Without proper heat management, any LED luminaire will fail. Our die-cast system pulls the heat form the LED chip, allowing continued cool operation for years. Life tests have shown the MAXILUME light engine output will be maintained at 70% of initial at 50,000 hours of operation.
4. DiMMABle - The Elite LED lighting system is fully dimmable down to 5% initial light output system is dimmable with a 0-10 Volt dimmer. Daylight harvesting, programmed controls, etc. will require load compensating dimmers. 120v can also be dimmed down to 15% of initial light output using standard incandescent wall dimmer (Produces 10 % less intial lumens than Mvolt Version).
5. MoUnTing FrAMe - Die-formed all die-cast construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection.
6. leD DriVer/JUnCTion BoX - The LED driver is rated for 50 to 60Hz at 120V /277V input, produces less than 20%THD, and has a power factor between 90% and 100% and is thermally protected for additional safety. MAXILUMEs LED driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling. UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with four knockouts, one knockout and four Romex knockouts with true pryout slots and strain clamps. Designed for straight through conduit runs. Driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling.
7. MoUnTing BrACkeT - Constructed from 16 gauge steel and is supplied with C-channel that are adjustable up to 28. Mounting bracket maybe adjusted up to 2-3/4 vertically from inside the housing.
8. lenS - Choice of either clear tempered or tempered frosted lens fastened with two torsion springs. UL listed for wet or damp location.
oUr WorD - The MAXILUME LED lighting system is warranted for 3 years. As a system, we stand behind the entire MAXILUME products from housing to bar hangers.

DeSCriPTion 8 LED dedicated Architectural new Construction Downlight with integral LED heat management casting and driver (installed on junction box). Consuming 21 watts and producing 1121 usable lumens. Lighting is smooth and comfortable while using 25% less energy than the common 32W CFL downlight. Plus the eco-friendlyMaxilume LED system features 70% lumen maintenance at 50,000 hours life, with California Title-24-2008 compliance and Energy Star Rating (pending).
FeATUreSgreater light output than a 32w CFL while consuming less than 24w of power. Maxilume LED luminaires are ideally suited for use in hospitality, health care, commercial, institutions, retail and other architectural applications.
1. oPTiCS - MAXILUME LED Optilux technology combines unmatched performance with visual comfort. Spun 0.05 thick reflector has been designed to gather the light scattered by the LED chip and shape it into functional beams that minimize brightness and glare, while eliminating lamp image. Proprietary dual level upper and lower reflector design allows for two different light distributions (Flood Spot), design capabilities are endless and unrestricted. Elite engineered superior quality, light engine; consuming less 21 watts and producing 1121 lumens.
2. PerForMAnCe - Operating system consumes only 21 watts of power and puts out 1150 usable lumens with a 41000K color temperature while our 3000K LED chip produces more than 970 lumens. All MAXILUME LED luminaries are rated at 85+ CRI and 3,000 degrees Kelvin. Our stringent chip specifications require only those Chips that produce no ultra violet and virtually no infrared. All LED luminaries are rated and tested to LM-79 and LM-80 standards by an independent laboratory.
3. THerMAl MAnAgeMenT SYSTeM - Using a proprietary cooLED Advanced Thermodynamic Design, Die-cast aluminum housing and heat management system are engineered for extremely long life and service period. Heat sink is attached to top of housing. The LED light engine is attached to the die-cast heat sink and is easily replaceable and upgradeable. Without proper heat management, any LED luminaire will fail. Our die-cast system pulls the heat form the LED chip, allowing continued cool operation for years. Life tests have shown the MAXILUME light engine output will be maintained at 70% of initial at 50,000 hours of operation.
4. DiMMABle - The Elite LED lighting system is fully dimmable down to 5% initial light output system is dimmable with a 0-10 Volt dimmer. Daylight harvesting, programmed controls, etc. will require load compensating dimmers. 120v can also be dimmed down to 15% of initial light output using standard incandescent wall dimmer (Produces 10 % less intial lumens than Mvolt Version).
5. MoUnTing FrAMe - Die-formed all die-cast construction for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection.
6. leD DriVer/JUnCTion BoX - The LED driver is rated for 50 to 60Hz at 120V /277V input, produces less than 20%THD, and has a power factor between 90% and 100% and is thermally protected for additional safety. MAXILUMEs LED driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling. UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with four knockouts, one knockout and four Romex knockouts with true pryout slots and strain clamps. Designed for straight through conduit runs. Driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling.
7. MoUnTing BrACkeT - Constructed from 16 gauge steel and is supplied with C-channel that are adjustable up to 28. Mounting bracket maybe adjusted up to 2-3/4 vertically from inside the housing.
8. lenS - Choice of either clear tempered or tempered frosted lens fastened with two torsion springs. UL listed for wet or damp location.

oPTiCS Anyone can mount a chip to a heat sink and make a downlight. gather the light scattered by the LED chip, shape it into a functional beam with state of the art reflectors, integrate the light through a smooth lens to minimize brightness, then top it all of with a glare reducing cone that has a 45-degree cut-off. now you have the Elite engineered, superior quality, light engine; consuming less than 14 watts and producing over 600 lumens.
DUrABiliTY Die-cast aluminum housing and heat management system are engineered for extremely long life and service period. Heat sink is attached to top of housing. The LED light engine is attached to the die-cast heat sink and is easily replaceable and upgradable. Without proper heat management, any LED luminaire will fail. Our die-cast system pulls the heat form the LED chip, allowing continued cool operation for years. Life tests have shown the Elite light engine output will be maintained at 70% of initial at 50,000 hours of operation. Our LED driver is rated for 50 to 60 Htz at 120v input, produces less than 10% THD, has a power factor between 0.90 and 1.00 and is thermally protected for additional safety. Elites driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling. In installations of 277v, we offer a step down transformer options that is field installable.
rePeATABle Repeatability means quality. From our chip selection process, to our driver, to the thermal management, the Elite LED Module is engineered for quality. B. MoUnTing BrACkeT Constructed from 16-gauge steel and is supplied with C-channels that are adjustable up to 28. Mounting brackets may be adjusted up to 2-3/4 vertically from inside the housing.
C. JUnCTion BoX UL Listed for through-branch circuit wiring, provided with four knockouts, one knockout and four Romex knockouts with integral strain clamps, all knockouts have true pry-out slots. J-box is designed for straight through conduit runs. Driver is installed on the junction box cover so it may be serviced from below the ceiling.
D. THerMAl ProTeCTion Standard thermal protection device guards against improper installation and misuse of insulation material.
