Pro-cell Prisoner Transport Systems

Pro-gard’s Pro-cell Prisoner Transport Systems offer a higher level of containment than standard partitioned vehicles. Our clear seat divider attaches firmly to both the seat and partition, creating a sturdy barrier through the middle of the prisoner transport area. Prisoners are confined to a smaller area of the rear seat which, offers better control of thrashing around.

Our patented design can be ordered in three different styles. All provide the maximum protection for your officers as well as prevent prisoners from stashing contraband. These easy to clean, fully contained systems minimize cracks and crevices where paraphernalia and evidence can otherwise be stuffed.

Our single transport systems offer an added benefit for officer comfort because they do not limit driver seat positions like standard partitions. While our dual transport system offers the unique means to safely confine two prisoners during transport, eliminating the need for a second vehicle.

Nothing is more important than maintaining control over a prisoner during transport. Our Prisoner Transport Partitions are designed to give your officers peace of mind about prisoner confinement. Their rugged steel construction provides a secure barrier between the prisoner transport and officer areas that withstands even the most aggressive assaults.

Pro-gard offers both a Universal, Sedan Partition and a Universal, SUV Partition that fit all Police Package vehicles*. These partitions are designed to be transferable from one vehicle to another with the simple addition of a transfer kit. Pro-gard has been working very closely with all the major manufacturers to ensure that these economical partitions will not only fit your current cruisers but the ones you plan to purchase in the coming years.

Transport Seats & Floor Pans

Molded from sturdy ABS plastic, our seats and floor pans fit the curves and contours of each different vehicle. Our seats and floor pans are designed to provide a continuous surface in the prisoner seating and foot area that makes for quick, easy cleaning and sanitizing that reduces concerns about contamination from biohazards. Our floor pans are made to drain via the floor of the vehicle so that cleaning can be as easy as sudsing up the seating area and flushing with a hose.

Sturdy enough to stand up to repeated assaults but comfortable enough to even transport personnel in comfort. Our Transport Seats and Floor Pans are designed to fit snug against one another as well as against vehicle molding to prevent prisoners from stashing contraband and evidence. By eliminating the cracks and crevices of factory seating you can maintain better control of evidence that might otherwise be lost.

With the transport areas shrinking in most police vehicles, our seats can increase the leg room for passengers in the rear seating area over OEM seats significantly. This means more foot room for prisoners as well as better control for your officers when placing prisoners in the vehicle.

The sheer force of an airbag deployment is extremely powerful. So much so that it can cause objects in its path to become dangerous projectiles.

Pro-gard’s patented, Airbag On/off Control Switches provide officers the security they need to do their job without the fear of conflicts between the airbag deployment zones and the aftermarket equipment mounted in those areas.

Our airbag control switches also offer fleet managers the peace of mind to know that damage to this expensive equipment can be greatly minimized by the absence of an airbag deployment.

Eliminate Conflicts with ANY Rigid Wing PartitionRigid wing partition panels are not designed to give easily under the force of an airbag deployment. It is possible that they can snap loose (or into many pieces) and become projectiles in the event of an airbag deployment. By shutting off the side curtain airbags, fleets who prefer this partition design can still use their preferred equipment style without fear of an airbag deployment.

Eliminate Conflicts with ANY Roof Mounted Gun RackLikewise, side curtain airbags may deploy from the area where roof mounted gun racks connect to the vehicle’s headliner. In such cases, should an airbag deployment occur, the consequences could be catastrophic if a weapon or part of the gun rack becomes a projectile object. This gun mounting style can be safely utilized when an AOI Airbag On/off Switch is used to shut off the airbag.

Eliminate Conflicts with Aftermarket EquipmentMuch of the aftermarket surveillance equipment that is becoming necessary mainstays for officers to perform their duties is mounted in the front passenger airbag deployment zone for obvious reasons. However, should there be an airbag deployment, what happens to this equipment? As with the above two situations, it can and usually does become a projectile object. Installing a front passenger AOI Airbag On/off Control Switch can eliminate this potential hazard, not only protecting your officers but also this costly equipment, and possible bystanders.

Because all manufacturers create different interiors in their vehicles, we must accommodate these differences with our gun rack mounts.

Therefore, the year, make and model of vehicle determines our first step in building your customized gun rack.

Pro-gard offers many different locations for you to mount your gun rack in the vehicle. Our three most popular locations are the Partition Mount, Self Supporting Mount, and the Roof Mount. We also offer Pro-cell Mounts and Trunk Mounts if that is your preference.

Step 3:What type of weapon(s) are you planning to house in your gun rack?Obviously, the type of weapon you are planning to house in the gun rack is of utmost importance. Now that we have determined where you want the gun rack to go, we can determine how to secure your gun(s). At this point we will also need to know if you need a single or dual gun rack.

There are a great deal of variations between weapon styles that we take into consideration when customizing the mounting brackets and gun lock portion of your gun rack. In order to secure the best fitment, we build the gun rack around your specific weapon and accessories.

At this point, you can choose they type of key access for your rack. We provide a gun lock for each weapon that has either a handcuff, vending, or standard key release (or none at all).

All gun racks come equipped with an 8 second timer and momentary switch that allow for quick, easy access to the weapon(s).

With the vast number of weapons in active duty, we sometimes require additional information and measurements about the weapon(s) being mounted in the gun rack. Our customer service team will work closely with you if necessary to identify specific measurements on your weapon to ensure that we get the best fitment for the weapon(s) into our gun racks The above diagrams point out some of the areas that we may request more specific measurements/information to help establish proper fitment.

Step 4:What weapon accessories will you be using on your weapon?The final step is to build around any accessories (if any) that you will be using on your weapon. Things like sights, lights, shields, and other accessories you place on the mounting rails. We also need to know about any removable accessories (such as lights, grips, and handles) that are on the weapon. The placement of these accessories can greatly effect the way we design the way that your weapon secures into the gun rack. As always, our customer service team will work with you as closely as necessary to ensure that we are able to get the right information to ensure the best fitment of your weapon into the gun rack.
