Welcome To Wild and Wonderful West Virginia

Thank you for joining us in Charleston for the Color It Green in a Wild

and Wonderful Way 2011 International Master Gardener Conference. West

Virginia University Extension Master Gardener volunteers and West Virginia

University Extension faculty and staff have been very busy for more than

three years to make sure your visit to West Virginia and the 2011 IMGC

will be memorable.

We have listened to your suggestions, and we believe we have put together

a very educational and enjoyable selection of workshops and sessions.

In doing so, we have followed the “green” theme with the workshop tracks

as well as the overall planning of the conference.

The conference will use locally produced products where possible, trees

have been planted to offset carbon release, the online registration helped

reduce paper waste, and this program is printed on recycled paper.

Host volunteers are wearing green aprons with the 2011 IMGC logo.

They will be available to assist you and answer your questions during

the conference.

We hope you enjoy the 2011 IMGC, make new friends and reconnect

with those from the past, and take time to enjoy our beautiful state

during this majestic time of year.

Again, thanks for coming to the conference.
