The company

Brevi manufactures and markets baby products.The Company boasts of 29 product lines, spread over a total of 300 articles, Brevi today has established itself as a market leader and a point of reference in the infant sector.

NEW: every year Brevi develops two collections (plastic and fabric) and turns over more than 700 item codes, 20 of which are annual novelties.

CLIENTS: Brevi operates in the “niche” channel in Italy and collaborates with 1,200 baby shops and 1,380 pharmacies for the line of soft toys. Abroad, it takes advantage of a network of 15 distributors and 25 sales representatives.

EMPLOYEES: over 110 in-house employees work at the firm and approximately 100 personnel from the ancillary sector collaborate exclusively with Brevi.

Safety

A product for infants must be carefully thought out, designed and made with maximum attention to the health of the baby. For this reason, Brevi invests 6% in research out of its own sales turnover, making its own production in accordance with the most severe safety regulations.At Brevi, Safety is:

INDIPENDENT: An outside laboratory carries out every safety check and test in order to guarantee maximum independence. Brevi collaborates with the most prestigious boards for standardization and certification.

CONTINUOUS: It is not limited to the prototyping phase. Once the certificate of conformity is received, the quality checks are carried out on all production lots.

TECHNICAL and SPECIALIZED: each certification board has developed specific protocols for every single type of product, with reference to:•non-toxicity of materials•locking mechanisms and adjustable systems to prevent accidental collapsing•ergonomic edges and rounded corners•safety of structural dimensions•passing of endurance tests and dynamic tests

The history

Brevi was born at the beginning of the 50s from the founder Giuliano Brevi’s passion for plastic and metal manufacturing, along with assistance from his brothers.

An intuition gave life to the company: no longer wood, but plastic and metal will be the raw materials for products related to the world of early childhood, starting with highchairs and cribs.

From the founder’s creativity, an entrepreneurial activity characterized by innovation and product style developed.
