The Competent Communicator (CC) award acknowledges members’ completion of the Competent Communication manual. Members who earn the CC award have gained the basic skills necessary for effective communication.
Advanced Communicators 61 Advanced Communicators Bronze (ACB) in the District 76 and 6,731 worldwide 27 Advanced Communicators Silver (ACS) in the District 76 and 3,297 worldwide 9 Advanced Communicators Gold (ACG) in the District 76 and 1,880 worldwide
Leadership Recognition 81 Competent Leader (CL) in the District 76 and 12,682 worldwide
19 Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB) in the District 76 and 4,781 worldwide 4 Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) in the District 76 and 1,287 worldwide
The ACB, ACS and ACG recognize members’ accomplishments in the Advanced Communication Program. Members who achieve these awards have mastered effective communication on many levels.
The CL award recognizes members for their leadership service in their clubs, while the ALB and ALS awards recognize leadership service in the district and community.

An Area serves as the key liaison between clubs and the District. The Area Governor assists the clubs of the area to fulfill their responsibilities to their members and to become Distinguished Clubs.
For an area to become Distinguished, there should be no net loss in the number of clubs in the area during the year and the Area Governor has to file two club visit reports per each club with Toastmasters International on a timely basis.
Additionally, to be a Distinguished Area, a 50 percent or more of their clubs need to be distinguished. To be a Select Distinguished Area, one addition-al club needs to be distinguished. To be a President’s Distinguished Club, one new club needs to be added to their club base.

For a Division to become Distinguished, at least 40 percent of the Division’s club base needs to be Distinguished. To become Select Distinguished, at least 45 percent of its club base needs to be Distinguished and to become President’s Distinguished, at least 50 percent of its club base needs to be Distinguished plus a net increase of one club or more.

Two Toastmasters served the District 76 in the capacity of Senior District Officer for two consecutive years by devoting their time and efforts In a man-ner which makes them a role-model for all leadership-seeking members of the District 76.
