    In 2009-2010, Missouri State-WestPlains

    For the second year in a row, was recognized by The GreatColleges to Work For program sponsored by The Chronicle forHigher Education. Missouri State-West Plains was one of only20 two-year colleges receiving the recognition this year.

    Maintained level tuition for FOUR consecutive years includingthe current fiscal year.

    Awarded approximately 3,400 associates degrees by the endof the 2010 summer session.

    While we are still checking the final numbers, we feel confident

    in saying that during the most recently completed academicyear (2009-2010) Missouri State University-West Plainsawarded about $10,000,000 in financial aid all of whicheventually goes to supporting local and area economies.

    Over $85,960 in gifts received during Year 3 of the MissouriState West Plains Annual Fund Campaign

    Several major gifts and other donations established 5 new

    academic scholarships 72% of full-time faculty and staff made cash donations to the

    university
