    Sock PiggeeGauge: 6s x 9r = 1 inch

    Materials: 35 yards of Yarn 1 (Y1) undyedDK weight yarn, 35 yards of Yarn 2 (Y2)Self Striping DK Weight yarn, 1 set #2DPNs, 1 skein black DMC floss or 2-3

    yards of black sport weight yarn or string,Polyester Fiber-fill, 1 tapestry needle, 1

    sewing needle and white thread, straightpins of blocking pins are recommended

    to assist in attaching the limbs.

    You'll begin this critter by making the ears, eyes, & legs. Then you'll start the body by working fromthe snout to the tail and attach the ears towards the midway point. Once he's stuffed you'll attachand stuff the legs. To finish, you'll stitch the eyes into place and embroider on his facial features.

    Stitch InstructionsConsolidation: Divide stitches evenly onto two needles. While holding them parallel, insert a thirdneedle knitwise into the first stitch on your front needle then insert the needle knitwise into the firststich on the back needle. Now knit those two together.Knit encroachment (k enc):sl1 stitch from the left needle to the right needle, lift the stitch below thenext stitch onto the left needle. Slip previously slipped stitch back onto the left needle and knit the twotogether.Purl Encroachment (p enc): sl1 stitch from the left needle to the right needle, lift the stitch below thenext stitch onto the left needle. Slip previously slipped stitch back onto the left needle and purl thetwo togetherM1a : Make a backwards loop with the yarn onto the right needle with the working yarn pointingaway from youK2TOG tbl: insert right needle into two stitches as if to purl through the back loop of each stitch, knitthem together.
