Women's BusinessMarch is Women’s History Month

In 1981, Congress passed a resolution that established National Women’s History Week. The National Women’s

History Project requested expanding the week to a month in1987, which was granted by Congress. The next project on the agenda

is a National Museum of Women’s History.
