Facia Adaptors convert the aperture left after removing the original manufacturers head unit to suit the standard dIn (FP) and double dIn (dFP) sizes used by the majority of aftermarket head unit manufacturers, whilst retaining the original visual appearance of the dashboard.

antenna aDaPtors:An Antenna Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit. Antenna Adaptors are available in both ISo, dIn and Fakra versions.

Harness adaptors connect the head unit to the original radio connector without the need to cut any of the existing wiring. Pc2-xx-4 are for conventional speaker systems and Pc9-4xx are for high specification cars that have an amplified speaker system fitted as standard. This product range can be purchased in either blister packs or in bulk. If you require any of these products in bulk, please replace Pc with 0 when ordering (ie. Pc2-85-4 will become 02-85-4 as bulk stock).

sPeaKer aDaPtor Kits:Autoleads speaker adaptor kits allow standard size speakers (100mm, 130mm, 165mm and 6 x 9) to be fitted into the original apertures of your car audio system. Wiring harnesses are included in the kits where necessary.

stereo reMoVal:many manufacturers incorporate special locking mechanisms into their head units in an attempt to prevent stereo theft. This means that to remove one of these units you will require a manufacturer specific stereo removal key to prevent damage to the head unit or the surrounding facia and cage.

sPeaKer aDaPtor leaDs:The Speaker Adaptor leads connect the aftermarket speakers to the original speaker connector without the need to cut any of the existing wiring. All Speaker Adaptor leads come in pairs.

These will enable the customer to use existing oEm steering wheel controls with an aftermarket head unit. The range of connectivity products allow data to be taken from an internal BUS system of the vehicle to allow information such as speed sense, ignition sense and telemute input to be used, and consists of Pc99, Pc29, Pc30 and Pc31 stalk adaptors. Pc99 & Pc29: These stalk control modules work on resistive BUS system vehicles, though some cAn BUS systems will be supported. Pc30: These are designed to integrate with complex cAn BUS systems and will also multimedia outputs such as ignition, speed pulse, handbrake and illumination (dependant on vehicle). Pc31: SAAB only stalk control adaptors.

SoT leads allow aftermarket products that are supplied with standard ISo blocks to be installed into vehicles with different connectors. male to female conversions are ideal for satellite navigation units, hands free kits, amplifiers, tracking systems, Bluetooth devices, etc. *new for 2010, all SoT leads are now available as retail packed product. teleMute Direct inPut leaDs:Telemute direct Input leads are required when the vehicles stereo is going to be used to handle the audio from the handsfree kit. These leads can plug directly into the stereo or plug into an existing harness located in the vehicle. These leads will only handle the audio form the car kit and not any other operational functions.

WARNINGcitroen cars can use ISo connectors on their audio systems, however extreme care should be taken as these connectors do NoT follow the standard UK connection used in many ISo harnesses. If the supplied lead is plugged directly into the vehicle dashboard various faults may occur. Faults may range from innacurate dashboard readings to complete failure of the BSI unit - resulting in a costly repair. When sourcing an ignition supply the first option should be the cigarette lighter socket. If this is unavailable or inconvenient then seek a suitable supply at the fuse box. do not expect an ignition source at the ISo connector. The multiplexed wiring found on these vehicles do show a 12v feed at ignition on the ISo connector but this is normally a cAN wire and not ignition. connection to this wire is not advised as it may cause damage to the vehicles BSI unit. Please refer to the owners manual for wiring detail.
